What to Do?

Tell a friend at work, email a friend from home, call a friend. Tell them you are going to make a difference. Iif only spreading the word is what you are doing, It is so much more than your elected officials are willing to do for you.

I was enormously impressed with Brazil's ability to accomodate
the use of flex fuel cars to free them from foreign oil dependency.
If we can eschew the oil magnants we may have an opportunity
to exercise our creativity Susan

i personally would rather see us utilizing the offshore oil shelves sixty to eighty miles off the coast, rather than other foreign countries..

David, which would you see off the coast, an oil rig, or a wind mill? Make sure you invite your friends to join you!

I heard that Florida is ranked 46 as far as a source for wind power. I was surprised because we do have the coastal breeze.

I agree the plan is a great plan and Americans should get behind this and let their elected officials know.

This is a Great Plan!!!!!!!
The Only Problem is Convincing The Govt of The Plan!!!!!!!!

Wind power is a coastal thing here in Florida, definitely doable but limited to shoreline. I live in a coastal county BUT 20 miles makes a difference when measuring wind. Many days of summer we lack wind.

Please take a look at our group site Mariah Power. The Windspire is now on display in Washington D.C. at the U.S. Capitol Botanic Garden through October 2008. Units are going up in California, Nevada, and Utah now, and we will very visable and effective throughout Hawaii this year. Mariah will be available worldwide as production increases with the completion of a new plant in Youngstown, Ohio.
