Both franchising alternative energy businesses (as Christopher Tidman's background seems to be in) and providing funding for it is something I had suggested in District Leader discussions and it is good that these suggestions have found resonance in Focus Hope.

Dear Michael; thank you for your devotion to our general Citizen Well-being and Planetary Enrichment; but mostly for your devout inspiration to others to do that which is right, before our mutual Creator/Christ. Truly you are serving as a military man at present, but it is my personal prayer that you and your shipmates be blessed with all protection and victory at every hostile encounter. We the freethinking people of These United States, clearly recognize the true hero's of our rightfully stated "Most Great Nation America". Well done Michael; persevere unto the end of this temporal test, and be assured that you are well beloved and honored by Him Who Exalts The Righteous among us. Your fan, William "Leland" Luster

Thanks for inviting me. Raising awareness is a given, but what more can we do?

I forgot to mention, this discussion group is also to rais awareness of other organizations that may be similar in scope as Focus Hope and that can potentially train for the renewable energy industry.
Best Regards,
Mike Kendall

Hello group, I saw Focus Hope on the news yesterday morning. Focus Hope was started in the 1960's by a priest in Detroit to train people for industry. It has very strict standards and has been shrinking due to the failing auto industry. I called them yesterday and asked if they are considering training for the renewable energy industry since the auto industry, particularly in Detroit, has been having so many difficulties. They are very interested in the idea but have not made any progress yet, possibly because it is new territory for them. I explained that there is a need for windsmiths with few training facilities nation wide and that there is a 3 year backlog for wind turbines for some companies as they can't make them quick enough. I recommend people to check out their website. At one time they had a multi-million dollar annual budget to train people from the inner city.
Best Regards,
Mike Kendall
