Senator Saxby Chambliss signed on to the Pickens Pledge today. Please take a moment to thank him for his support!

At $700 Billion going overseas this year for foreign oil, that would just about wipe out the debt we are gaining in Congress at this very moment. If we kept a quarter of that here in the States, we could pay off the Wall Street debacle in less than 5 years. As it stands now, our children's children could be paying for that. If the plan is put into play right now, we can again become the most financially powerful country in the world. I am mad that our leadership in this country has such little foresight to see where we are heading on our present course.

As Georgia Leader for Pickens Plan Supporters, my goal is to bring us together as one group with divisions for different areas of our great state. We want to be well represented both on local and national level. Therefore, my plan is to have one GA group, so that when a person joins they do not have many inactive groups to choose from, but one active vital group. I ask that all who have started groups in Ga contact members for feedback. Let's work together. Let's set one group and delete others so we can all stand united. Each group now has so much to give, if we can do it together it will be more organized and productive with better communication. Also, we will have the ability to track our numbers and in this effort, numbers will mean power. So, please contact me with feedback, I am shooting for us to have this accomplished in the next 2 weeks so that all the new members and current members of a 130,000 member army can corrodinate efforts and make a difference in our state and beyond. I will pledge to contact, and meet in person all area leaders on a regular basis to keep us strong. Who is with me on this? Thank you for your time and all your efforts, pass this around and let's get to work. As soon as I get a hold on the petitions, I will strive to have GA as one of the largest groups represented, it starts at home. Let's make Georgia Pickens Plan Supporters a strong group. Have a Windy Day! Sam

Less Waste Oil In The Environment

A few months back I started my own independent distributor company promoting the benefits of using premium synthetic oils instead of petroleum based lubricating oils. Approximately 1% of a barrel of oil is used to make lubrication products. That may not seem like much until you consider that this country uses 20,730,000 barrels of oil per day. That’s 207,300 bbl/day that’s being used to make motor oils, greases and other lubricating products alone. At $125.00 a barrel, that’s almost $9.5 billion a year going overseas for foreign oil just for lubrication products. Almost $26,000,000 a day could be stopped from going overseas today and every day starting tomorrow, not in ten years, if we just switched from petroleum lubricants to premium synthetic lubricants.

The California Environmental Protection Agency and its Integrated Waste Management Board has embarked on a statewide “3,000 Mile Myth” public information campaign to educate drivers on reducing motor oil consumption.
See what others are saying about using an extended drain program.
There are many other benefits from using premium synthetic lubricants. Such benefits as lower cost through extended drain intervals which produces less waste oil; better wear protection for longer engine life and better fuel economy (up to 8.3%) with less carbon emissions.
For those of you who have a fleet of vehicles, here is an actual case study of how an owner has saved thousands of dollars for his company.
Aside from the economic benefits it’s just The Right Choice for the Environment.

Feel free to give me a call to discuss anything about the Pickens Plan or how to reduce your oil consumption through the use of premium synthetic oils. The best time to catch me in the office is around the noon hours CST. My toll free number can be located on my website at http://www.InnovativeSynthetics.com

When I saw the add Mr.Pickens is running on TV I decided to look further and check out the website. I believe that if an oilman can change his mind and focus to the future and alternative energy sources for this country, then why can't we all.
IT's time that we stop letting imported oil dictate how we as free Americans live our lives. I want to know all that I can do to help in this campaign to boost support, not only for Mr. Picken's plan but for any plans that will help this country and this planet. The longest journey begins with but a single step and I want to know what my first step should be. So, please, if anyone has any ideas or anything, let me know.

gona give you a couple links to check. and if u will search on
keywords "georgia fuel from pine range industries" or some
other keywords from timber scraps. you will find a lot
about Georgia and a plant that is under const.at Soperton.

there are lot of scrap left when timber is cut. I saw somewhere
that there was enough in georgia for one percent of the vehicle fuel
in the nation and in another place they claimed there was enough to
supply 20 per cent of georgias energy needs'
and if this scrap lays on the ground and decays or is burned it puts
the same carbon in the air as if it is used for fuel.

I do not understand why nuclear has not gone in this kind of business, esp. solar. Are they waiting to buy the sun?
