gona give you a couple links to check. and if u will search on
keywords "georgia fuel from pine range industries" or some
other keywords from timber scraps. you will find a lot
about Georgia and a plant that is under const.at Soperton.

there are lot of scrap left when timber is cut. I saw somewhere
that there was enough in georgia for one percent of the vehicle fuel
in the nation and in another place they claimed there was enough to
supply 20 per cent of georgias energy needs'
and if this scrap lays on the ground and decays or is burned it puts
the same carbon in the air as if it is used for fuel.

Hi, I'm Michelle. I've been Peak Oil aware for nearly
3 years. I hope this plan works, it's all we've got.

I do not understand why nuclear has not gone in this kind of business, esp. solar. Are they waiting to buy the sun?

Is there anybody in the Macon area, or at the very least anybody who could help coordinate persons such as myself into a plan of action, or something? At least then I could actively contribute instead of just lurking.

Greetings Friends,
We all need to thank Mr. Pickens for explaining the energy problem that we as a nation face. Earlier it was one Group (users) pointing fingers at the other Group (suppliers) and vice versa. The problem is real. It was magnified to some extent, in recent times, by speculators. But, the truth is we are importing more oil every year and producing less. We are sending billions of dollars overseas.

I like Mr. Pickens Plan but I think it needs to be supplemented by other plans. It by itself will not get us to Energy Independence. It will just buy us more time. For this reason I have posted a petition for Energy Independence .

Please (a) sign the Petition and (b) forward it to your friends. United we can achieve Energy Independence and avoid this constant financial bleeding of our great nation.
Thanks.

Regards and Best wishes,

In georgia if you get power from Rural Electrification (GEMC) you can also use geothermal energy. Planters Electric in Millen, Ga. installed geothermal wells when they built their new building to help offset cooling cost thus reducing their electrical energy consumption. I am 51 you and have an 11 yo son and an 8 yo daughter and we need to get involved to insure their and all of our childrens futures. The technology is here and we need to push it to make it more affordable and obtainable for all of us worldwide. God gave us this planet to take care of and to live together on, and it is each and everyones responsibility and duty to do everything we can to take much better care of it!!!

Solar, solar, solar...recycle, recycle, recycle. Plus I can walk to work at my job at the local electrical coop. Did I say solar, solar, solar? Hoping to add my panel by the spring. Can't wait to watch that meter spin backwards!!!
