I've come to the astute realization that conservatism is a form, an outward I.D. of a serious type of deep depression; mental illiness.

Rooted in sexual frustration, and an inalienation of 1's natural sense of animal self. Distorted by a synthetic mental block.

I.E. Freudian. Neurotic at best -

They hate themselves, and so hate everybody.

Goppers Motto: "If I ain't having a good time, than no1 else will!". They don't even like each other.

Every effort Americans can take to keep these Goppers out of Office should be put into play- pronto.

Else, they'll be Goppin' on us all again for another 4 years,
'an I just don't think I could tollarate the stink O dat!!!

MY SUGGESTION TO THE U.S.A.: Reform the Automotive industry NOW!!!

Absolutely! Picken's really needs to be careful!

I've alrerady heard from many non-neurotics who feel that this PP is just some sort of CON.

Please REMOVE any reference to the GOP Pronounced: "Gop". We're sick of "Gop"!

I'm supporting NADER.

Feel like I should have bought NG 2 years ago.

I think this (PP Site) is a very (+) positive effort!

The issue of incentives for solar and wind have been debated in the Senate for many months at least. The Republicans have blocked these initiatives, not once or twice but FOUR times. A big part of the Pickens plan is wind energy. If they could be persuaded to at least stop their obstructionism then clean renewable energy might become a reality. Sadly, they are consumed with pressuring for drilling in ANWAR and offshore, or for that matter any other item that may benefit the oil companies. In reality this only extends our future dependance on foreign oil. Can anybody out there explain to them that even if they have their way with their drilling plans it will only, at best, satisfy 3% of our domestic needs?...That the other 97% will still be imported from our enemies. Will you open your eyes and face the facts? Or do you need to hear it from Rush Limbaugh or Rupert Murdock?

It is so odd to me that the party that claims such environmental street cred didn't show up for this.

I love it when legislators think outside the box!
The Republican Congressmen/women who organized and staged the Energy Talk-In can be seen and heard on Rep. John Culberson's Twitter page;
or his Qik page;

They were broadcasting by cellphones after the tv cameras and the electricity was shut off, and the rest of the legislators went off on vacation while the tax payers struggle to pay high gas prices and struggle.

THE GOP NEEDS TO HAVE AN "ALL OF THE ABOVE" FOR ENERGY!

That means they have to push the Pickens Plan plus "all of the above" to get us off imported oil.

Tax incentives for Solar and Wind energy to build jobs here in the USA.

Tax incentives to build Nuke plants and something done with the waste, not just dumping it in a mountain.

Tax incentives for electric cars with parking garages that have solar car charges.

Tax incentives CNG cars and the filling stations to provide the natural gas for them.

We need to rebuild the USA to get off imported oil.
And that means the GOP has to push for all of the above.
Not just drilling for oil and natural gas.
THEY WILL NOT GET OUR VOTES OTHERWISE!

The Democrates need to do the same thing! WE CAN VOTE THEM OUT TOO!

Tax incentives for national recycling of waste products...no more landfills!

We can change this country and provide jobs if the politics used are common sense!

I am sure I have missed a few more but they need tax incentive funding also!
Best Regards to all the grassroots army members!
Now lets build this army larger and take back the USA for all of us!

I sent a letter yesterday to both Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.
I stated in that letter that if they left ,
Washington On congressional vacation Without having Allowed a vote on the energy bill , That they were sending a message to the American public and the oil speculators That Congress was going to do nothing about the current energy crisis and price of oil. And that this message would cause oil to spike again to its previous levels and also Infuriate The American public!

Today oil prices and are back on the rise Just as I had predicted! I predict but that by the time Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid return in September , The American public will demand their resignations from Congress and speaker of the house. As well as anyone else complicit to the purposeful abrogation of their duties And the very reason they were sent to Washington in the first place. To protect the American economy!! They have failed US!!

They both should be tried for treason!! For sitting back!! and allowing The very security And welfare Of our country to implode on itself!! while they vacation!!!! These Bastards!!

Moreover they have secured! the democratic parties Presidential defeat With their loathing! Of the very people who put them in office!

Wake up America! These people are our enemies!!

Hey Michael Don't hold back...tell us how you really feel. I was a McCain volunteer supporter in 2000. Do you think we could persuade the GOP to re-think their platform and maybe let John go back and be the man he once was? Or, maybe to give up on those nasty hateful ads they're running? Paris Hilton and Brittany Spears? Obama is responsible for the price at the pump? Who falls for these ads? morons? C'mon R's at least show a little respect.

Here are links to voice your opinions on energy to the Democrats as well:

You can send your recommendations to the Democratic National Committee to Governors Janet Napolitano and Deval Patrick, who are co-chairing the DNC Platform Drafting Committee.

The point of this group is to let you know that the GOP has created a website where you can add your input to the GOP platform and hopefully influence their energy policy for the better...the point of this group is not to promote the GOP platform.

So is this what Pickens is really about? I thought he said this was "an emergency we can't drill our way out of". This doesn't jive with what we hear from the Republicans. I had hoped this movement would be bipartisan. Was I being naive?
