Hey Tom

I think everyone is anxious to get some kind of alternative energy going on a personal basis...dont you? I think they would love to learn how where or when they can get:
natural gas conversion for their cars and suv's, Solar for their homes, and if they live in a windy area....perhaps wind power.
I recently ran across a site that offers "free" solar for your home or business......that is "free" in some states......by virtue of a federal and state rebate program.....here's the URL http://www.power-save.com/solar.html

I think I have sent it to everyone I can think of.....ck it out
once your on.....save to favorites.....and look on the right side
under "government solar incentatives" let me know what you
think, about any of the items I have brought up....thanks Bill

I have a question.
I am very interested in starting a solar panel installation company in my area. My question simply put is where do I start?
Any useful comments or suggestions are greatly welcomed.

I'm in manatee county, Fl. I don't have any experience in green technology, but am willing to learn. I believe in an all of the above approach to solving our energy dependence problem. My question is, what jobs are there for someone who wants to be involved in transforming our country back into the USA that we are all proud to live in. With a background in sales, bartending, and food service, what jobs can I get. What can I do to show my children that you can make a living by doing the right thing?

Hey TOM ZELLARS....
enjoyed your u-tube video on "Green For All" that what were talking about.....getting the individual involved to find the answers.....Wind is great but what if you live in a windless community? Solar then comes to mind.....right? well for the DIY'er
here some neat answers to a low cost operation and in fact in some states its installed on your residence or bussiness....get this now....."FREE" check it out my friends. Also I will be getting back with your on a way of cutting your electrical bill by up to 30% but dont want to be too premature and get everyones hopes up...so I will install and test this product my self in order to give you "ACTUAL" comparative factual documents, so as not to mislead anyone......so for now heres the info on the DIY solar project......from the installation down to the cost in volved.

Hope you can use the information and watch for a future project that will literally save you $$$$$$...if it pans out....see ya Bill

Wow,
This is such a great idea to connect the energy crisis and bring so many people out of poverty. I really like this. Keep up the good work.

I am a Green Engineer working in S. FL. Currently, I design commercial scale PV systems. Majority of the projects are utilizing a-Si laminates. I also have experience in bio and ocean systems. I am very impressed and inspired by the little I have seen/read on the “Green For All” campaign. Please let me know if I can assist in any way.

You want green jobs? How about manufacturing very high efficiency vehicles we all can use?
See: http://push.pickensplan.com/forum/topic/show?id=2187034%3ATopic%3A522952

It would need to be a three wheeler to get around some current regs. Two driven wheels in front, one in back (possibly driven).

Besides the main diesel engine, there is another person in here that has an engine that can run on waste heat. Currently diesel electric is the most efficient system we have. A multi-fuel diesel is the best solution now, since not everybody has access to CNG, Hydrogen, bio-diesel, propane etc. The diesel engine powers a generator to drive the electric motors in each drive wheel. The second waste heat engine can be used for charging batteries and running the electrical systems (and AC), thus reducing the load on the primary engine. Should get well over 100 mpg.
We need to use as many stock automotive and other components (made in the USA) as we can, with as little custom engineering as possible.
Vehicle #1 should be a mini SUV (we used to call them station wagons). Second vehicle would be a series of vans. Third vehicle would be for driving to work (smallest and most efficient). Then maybe a mid sized truck series. First and third could be three wheelers.
You want jobs: manufacturing, service, sales all available from this idea.
