gas prices being lowered
Hi everyone,
Don't you think it is mighty strange that gas prices got so darn high last year and are now pretty darn low? . Hmmmmm, do you think maybe its because of two reasons. Maybe one is that alot of people couldnt even afford to buy gas to get to work. They had to choose between paying other bills, eating or getting to work. Or, I think that all of us, ( the Green) people got them worried that maybe JUST maybe we would find a way to live WITHOUT their stinking oil?. With all the talk all of us did about coming up with alternitve fuels for our homes and businesses and our cars, and also getting totally AWAY from IMPORTED foreign oil. Dont you think that they all of a sudden lowering the gas prices was to make people not to worry any more and not think about alternitive energies..
I truly think that we still need to spread the word and nag and preach and teach everyone we know, that includes friends, family, strangers and as hard as it is to do, even the damn politicians.
Now is the time we still need to stand together and not lapse back into a SAFE zone. Our planet still needs a CLEAN, safe alternitive energy.

Did anyone wonder how the Federal Reserve was able to cut interest rates to zero? If nobody buys gas at $5.00/gal, isn't it better to drop the price and move the inventory? There is no mystery here ladies and gentlemen, unless you count the mysterious ways that people still cannot understand what is really going on here.
We are being manipulated by every means possible. Is it our government? They are manipulated also. Just like the choices given for President was limited to those candidates that will "toe the line" and not be a "loose cannon" on the deck.

Oh Fred,
I wish I could download that video. But I live SO far out in the country on the coast that all I have is dial up. I cant even download anything small on "You tube" I'm sure it is very good. i will have to take your word for it, thanks for your info ,

Thank you for the link to the Fed, I am listening as I write this. I have been aware of this for as long as I can remember.
WHY do so few people understand this.

Excellent viewpoint and commentary, I had been thinking the same thing. The money is there to advance alternative fuels, our earth, sun, etc. supplies it in abundance and always has, solar, wind, geothermal whatever. We have everything we need and can provide our energy needs without polluting our mother and upsetting the balance of nature. Thanks Marsha.

The news this morning theorized that the prices will go up and that the tax will be used to stimlate the economy to the tune of $700B.

YOU MAY BE RIGHT ABOUT GAS AND I AGREE ABOUT SPREADING THE WORD BUT I WOULD BE MORE IMPRESSED IF THE PP MEMBERSHIP TOOK ACTION INSTEAD OF JUST TALK. IF ALL OR EVEN MOST OF THE MEMBERSHIP WERE TO LOWER THEIR ELECTRIC POWER BILL BY 50% OR EVEN JUST 25%, WE WOULD MAKE A POWERFUL STATEMENT, RIGHT? IF WE CANNOT DO THAT THEN WE ARE NO BETTER THAN THE PEOPLE WE ARE TALKING TO. ACTION TALKS, BS WALKS. -

Its nice to meet you. You are absolutley right. I think that most of the Pickens members do the most that they can. I know I sure try. I always hope to learn to do more also. It is so important that we all continue to do as much as we can as individuals.
I dont know how hard it is to get businesses to start becoming greener.I'm not a very good business person, just a very caring one. But I was surprsied to find out that there are more and more of them starting to go greener and greener. I think people are finally realizing that we cant mess around no longer, that our Earth is in serious trouble. Hopefully they will spread the word and we can cause a chain reaction around the planet.
Lets stick together and not give up,
