I am finding that a lot of people are not believing that these jobs are really here and so they ignore them.
to many oil barons "those who still believe in drill,drill,drill, instead of blow wind blow,sun,renewable fuels,so much false info out there from so many negative people.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Title: Administrative Assistant
Reports to: Director/Associate Director
Major Responsibilities: The Administrative Assistant supports the work of the Commission by providing direct support to staff.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist directors with oversight of self-studies
* - Answering general questions from institutions, via email and telephone.
* - Track receipt of self-studies.
2. Support the team setting and visit process
* - Communicate with prospective team members.
* - Communicate with institutions regarding acceptability of substitutes on teams.
* - Track various steps and deadlines within each visit module.
3. Manage institutional inquiries
* - Communicate with institutions via email and telephone.
4. Support to Directors on general office practices
* - Develop and prepare standard form letters for routine tasks.
* - Placement of documents in Staff Liaisons’ office files.
* - Manipulate database information for assigned tasks
* - Review mail and oversee appropriate follow up.
* - Maintain travel schedule, make travel arrangements, schedule. appointments, if requested.
5. Other duties as assigned.

Foundation Competencies and Abilities:

* Degree required or appropriate equivalent experience
* Multi-tasker
* Computer skills required, including email, Microsoft Office, data applications, calendaring
* Excellent interpersonal and phone skills
* Strong writing skills
* Quality work ethic
* Attention to detail
* Quick learner
* 1-3 years of related experience

Would like to know if there are any wind turbine plants that are looking for a work force.? The State of Ohio has a lot of unemployed factory workers, especially in the northern part. With retraining, they can be a force to produce the wind turbines for the future.
