I personanl not think its up to Government to Fix America Its really up to us We the People, People Helping People, I didn't hear anyone ask us if they should give AIG an Additional 30 Billion on top of the 150 Billion they already wasted.
Government is not Listening to us.

I may be wrong But:
So far I have seen the Lawmakers make the Laws to suit there own needs not ours and our Grandkids.
I would like to see the Fairtax.org and Fire the IRS and their 67 Thousand Pages of Tax Code. But we the People Thje 77 Million Baby Boomers need to come together as One Voice.

I have just returned from a business meeting and we have an Executive Summary drafted for submission to interested investors. We are going to make appointments with one local person and another group of investors in California. Our design and development is not a short-term solution however as it will take a year or two before we have a product to manufacture. It is imperative that we do not wait for a new technological answer to our energy problems, but use the currently available technology as an interim solution to high fuel and energy costs NOW.

One of the best steps to take is to become an energy producer rather than only a consumer. Investments in energy efficiency renovations in existing homes, installing solar and wind energy equipment, all will reduce our dependency, but more importantly, it will reduce our energy costs and make us producers of clean power, which we then can use the surplus as income.

What we do need is the price of those systems to become more affordable. Tax incentives are a great start, but we need to ramp up production to reduce costs. The recovery and reinvestment does point funds i this direction, and we must make sure that those earmarks are utilized wisely.

The Plan To Save America.doc
Mike,
Sometime I get discouraged when I see so many people that do have the means to make a difference, do nothing but complain about the conditions we are in and blame the people they voted for. They will blog and blog, write comments, but never direct them to those that can make a difference.

I listen to the rants about how Congress works for the benefit of big business at the consequence of us, the people whom they represent. If your Congressman or Senator is not doing a good job, then organize a campaign for someone else.

I am going to tell everyone this, because it is one of the most important things that we can do. Support the President, regardless of what big banking or business says, regardless of what Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi say. Bank Obama to make the changes he was elected for.

If all you do is fold your arms across your chest and wait to see what is going to happen, I can guarantee that nothing will. At least nothing positive. My Plan to Save America can do just that but I need everyone to take a piece of it and run it up through the ranks of government, from the city through the federal levels.

One man or woman can only do so much without support of others. T. Boone, with all of his money cannot do anything alone except make sound investments and influence a few. But with all of us supporting him, he can do so much more. So where does that leave us? Someone said that we need a leader. I have been reluctant to step up, not because I don't feel capable, but because I have wanted to be a player not the coach. I guess it's time that I step up and take a leadership role.

Reducing our dependence on foreign oil is important for both economic and national security issues. Reducing GHG emissions is equally important, although I am not convinced moving to CNG is the best answer. Perhaps CNG will be an interim step so that we can build a new energy infrastructure to support a new energy paradigm.

Comfort and conveniences have their prices, and if we don't really understand all the costs, we are doomed to repeat the errors of the past. As a society we have been lax in taking responsibility for our own basic needs and have instead relied on stores to supply us with what we need. But from a bag of flour and yeast, we now expect the store to have the ready made bread and milk. We want those big juicy tomatoes but plant roses in the garden and buy the tomatoes at the supermarket.

As a people we must become more independent and self reliant. WE must be accountable for our own lives, and not depend on a business which is based on profit to be responsible for us. They by design cannot be, as their responsibility is to their shareholders.

I do want to commend you Mike, for seeing that we do need to work together on this. We have to be better than the corporations by putting the people above profits. That does not mean we have to work for free, only that we can earn a good living without depriving others, and in fact be helping others become more independent and self sustaining..

Dear Friends

I have a Plan

Im going to get a little personal about me with you.
I Just finished a Drywall & Paint Job and realized the awesome earning potential I have within my grasp If I had 10 or more people just like me we could increase profits 10 fold maybe more. Im not saying this to soloist anyone or sell anything this is just a possible solution to raise capital to advance our projects like Energy Bonds Green Jobs and promote the best of our best Ideas. For 30 years I have been meeting all my family needs within my means with just the help of my wife.
My thought is this lets all network with one another our jobs what we do best refering one another for work and taking 10% or what ever of the job refered and put 5% into a We the People Account & the other 5% to the one who refered the job.
Mr. Pickens has spent over 50 Million of his own Money, Tell me why we all can't pull together and do this. I think most of us here part of the 77 Million Baby Boomers, I have 10-15 years left in me to sucure our Grandkids Furture.

So what do you think ?
Am I Dreaming :o} Or can we or are we willing. The only Power the Government has over us is what We the people Give them.
I'm really afraid of what I'm seeing where they are going.

Any suggestions on credible alternative energy training courses in the central to south Florida area, would be greatly appreciated. Every time I get on line to research the courses available, more seem to be springing up. I am looking at this as a career change and I would rather not waste my money or my time with the fly by night operations, that I am sure will become more prevalent in the near future. It seems everybody and their brother is on here selling their wares; I'm looking at a future for my daughter and I.
Thanks, for anyone that has suggestions ...Vicki
