Okay. In recent commercials, companies like Ford are trying to make a big deal out of any vehicle that gets 21-32 miles per gallon on average. I am not a mechanic by any means but I've heard a handful of their stories - and these people want me to believe that 80 miles a gallon is not only possible but should have been the standard years ago.

Even if we manage to convert vehicles to natural gas, will we still be stuck with the big companies trying to sell us on the 26 mile per gallon average?
