i feel it is so true that we as a whole are being held up because we are so dependant on fossil fuel that without it we think we would not function. but there are so many results that can get us all out of this problem, there is another way out also. even beside natual gas. salt water!!!! and radio waves, it sparks the water to ignite just like gas or anything else out there. and being that the earth is 90% covered with salt water, you can do the math and see that it would help worldwide.

I believe in this plan and I am willing to assist any way I can. I live in the NW Rockford area.

I live in Moline IL along the Iowa border and would be able to work very close with the people from the davenpot area to maybe organize something to educate the people around us better.

I am a retired Construction Worker and would be able to help do things in Livingston County. A proposal will go before the County Board here Monday 7-21-08 for a 155-turbine Wind Farm.

Traveling to Europe it's all you see are the Wind Farms. I think this is great, an Oil Man behind Wind Energy. We have some catching up to do, but lets go. How can we invest?

I think this website has a lot of great, detailed information about action we can take. It's Al Gore's site to solve the climate change problem. http://www.wecansolveit.org/content/advocate/

Oregon is about an hour and a half west of Chicago, south of Rockford along the Rock River. Illinois 64 runs through the middle of town...

Can someone tell us where Oregon, Illinois is?
Laura Manning Comment by Laura Manning on July 18, 2008 at 4:36pm
I'm very excited that action is finally taking place on this issue. My question is... what is exactly do we need to do? I'm new to this kind of thing. Are we looking for fundraising? Awareness I'm sure. Petitions? What more can I do?
