Our Work is Our Legacy.....Help us create a brighter, cleaner future for generations to come...

Legacy Energy Group, LLC (LegacyEG) focuses on Community Wind and Biomass Power projects as well as Power Storage. These type projects support local economies with good-paying jobs; landowner fees; and, taxes paid to schools, towns, counties and others. The need for alternative energy has never been stronger, and we believe a cleaner, more self-reliant future for America can be found in renewable energy and alternative fuels.

We have worked for the last 10 months locating funding and the other tools needed to offer a Community Wind Program. This program is available to most entities that serve the community as a whole and we feel fortunate to be able to offer community organizations the opportunity to own a significant portion of a community wind project without the large financial risks normally associated with this ownership. Example Organizations: Cities, Counties, Electric Co-Ops, Economic Development Organizations, Not-For-Profits, Schools or most organizations that benefit a large segment of the community.

Community organizations may participate in up to 20% ownership with no capital expenditures and they have the OPTION to increase participation by an additional 10% with very little capital outlay. This program helps promote energy independence as well as providing good paying green jobs within the community and provides long term income that stays in the community.

Please join us as we promote these projects in communities across the country and feel free to ask questions and/or join in the discussion as we move closer to an Energy Independent America.

Margaret we really have not had much experience with the home size machines, but the research I have done shows the Skystream 3.7 may be a good choice. The biggest problem is that they are expensive compared to commercial machines. I would suggest you contact a Skystream dealer close to and see what they have to offer.

Skystream Website: http://www.skystreamenergy.com/

You may also want to do additional research as other good machines probably exist. If I may be of additional help, please let me know...

looks like I get to start this. I will be the first to say that I am not certain what I am doing here. lol Still I am wanting to play some part in this. My big intrest in wind energy is for the home gardn er. There has to be a small (attractive) turbine that would help the community at large become part of the move to sustainable energy.
