Living on Lake Michigan we get a lot of wind year round and sunshine to utilize it more efficiently. We all know how critical it is to change the current system. I definitaly want to get involved and support Mr. Pickens.

I have a question about wind power/electricity - how far can/does electricity travel? I live in New York City, can electricity from wind power travel a couple of thousand miles from the midwest or does the electrical current weaken the farther it travels? If you have any suggested readings on the subject please point me in the right direction.
