Buy the way I don't live there anymore. The place does not support itself with the cost of fuel having more than doubled over the past two years. That was $400 after I got both rent checks... gonna be more like $8-1000/ mo this year. Wheres that gonna come from?

Maybe the wallstreet bailout.. Yeah right.

I own a two family that I bought when I first seperated from my x wife. I lived there for about two years until my life stabilized again. I have since began a new relationship and am engaged. The apt building seemed like a good idea at first to offset the cost of a mortgage, but it is now threatning my financial security. Last year it cost me $400/mo to own the place!!It is going to sink me this year! I bought it when the housing market peaked. Now i'm stuck either paying for the crazy cost out out of my pocket, or letting it be forclosed on! Where's the help for the little people. $700 billion to bail out wallstreet and nothing for us that have been paying our bills!

There hasn't been even a mention of energy in the last couple of weeks.. I watched the cost of fuel jump 30 cents in a couple of hours the other day and it diddnt even get mentioned on the local nightly news!

We need energy independence! I just wish it was here before I lost it all..

We need energy from all sources. Think broadly and partisan issues tend to disolve. For us, heating this winter is scary to think about, but we can find solutions if we stand together.

Howdy my eastern neighbors,

Just wanted to commend you for what i heard on the radio today. I heard that there is a very large wind farm being developed in northern ME as I type this.

I think thats awsome.

On a side note to the person talking of paying for heating oil this upcoming winter I share your pain. I wish I had a solution for this winter but I fear this will be a tough one. Hopefully however the ground work is being laid to change all that.
