Where? When? What can I do? I just hope it will be in the Annapolis / Glen Burnie area. I have problems traveling very far - since I'm unemployed, I just don't have the money for gas to travel a lot.

Yes we need a meeting! Many other states are way ahead of us. How can we get Mr. Boone to come to MD and hold a town meeting? That's what we need to get kick started.

Where are you located? There are two of us in AA Co. - are you close? Perhaps we could get together - the 3 of us - and plot something out. Anyone else out there in or near AA Co? Let us know - we can all team up.

I would be interested in attending a meeting. I am in the Silver Spring area, but can hop in my gas efficient hybrid and travel a bit. Not sure if just meeting is the most efficient way to go about getting things started, but meeting people is always nice. I think we would need a game plan, agenda, way forward, etc., before organizing a meet up. Does Maryland for Energy Independence have a mission statement? It helps to have one to focus efforts as you can set goals off of the mission statement. Once we know what we want to do, we can plan how we are going to do it either online or at meetings... my two cents...

Hi every body,
I'm new to your group and I live in the Glen Burnie area also. I think there's alot we could get done since we live right outside of D.C.
I have been reading your post's trying to see where you are and if you guys want to get togeather we may be able to do something as simple as a meet at Denny's or maybe even reserve a time slot at a local library.
You guys look like your on the right track and it would be great to help out!
