Dear Friends

I have a Plan

Im going to get a little personal about me with you.
I Just finished a Drywall & Paint Job and realized the awesome earning potential I have within my grasp If I had 10 or more people just like me we could increase profits 10 fold maybe more. Im not saying this to soloist anyone or sell anything this is just a possible solution to raise capital to advance our projects like Energy Bonds Green Jobs and promote the best of our best Ideas. For 30 years I have been meeting all my family needs within my means with just the help of my wife.
My thought is this lets all network with one another our jobs what we do best refering one another for work and taking 10% or what ever of the job refered and put 5% into a We the People Account & the other 5% to the one who refered the job.
Mr. Pickens has spent over 50 Million of his own Money, Tell me why we all can't pull together and do this. I think most of us here part of the 77 Million Baby Boomers, I have 10-15 years left in me to sucure our Grandkids Furture.

So what do you think ?
Am I Dreaming :o} Or can we or are we willing. The only Power the Government has over us is what We the people Give them.
I'm really afraid of what I'm seeing where they are going.

Dear Mr. Fernald:

Thank you for contacting me with your views regarding the economic stimulus package. I appreciate your taking the time to do so.

Every day, we hear more reports of massive job losses, and Maine is no exception with an increase in its unemployment rate to seven percent. Congress must work with President Obama to get the economy moving again. I believe, however, that it is critical that Congress pass an economic stimulus bill that achieves the right balance, right size, and right mix of tax relief and spending programs to ensure that any stimulus legislation will actually boost the economy and create jobs, not just add to the soaring deficit.

In that regard, I have serious concerns with the $819 billion bill that has been approved by the U.S. House of Representatives. I am working with Senator Ben Nelson (D-NE), on a bipartisan, compromise plan that would result in a smaller and more targeted bill that would help get our economy back on track.

In addition to infrastructure investments, the stimulus should include funding to help states avoid cuts in essential health care programs, tax relief for low and middle-income families, tax incentives to help small businesses, and investments in energy conservation to help create jobs and reduce our dependence on foreign oil.

Again, thank you for contacting me. I will continue to work with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to come up with a final stimulus package that is bipartisan, targeted and effective.

Sincerely,
Susan M. Collins

United States Senator

The real key to the capture of the economic benefit of alternative energy for our communities is to capture as much of the vertical economic potential for the local market. That means locally developed, owned and operated renewable energy projects selling less expensive green energy to the local marketplace.

We can achieve this for domestic economic and environmental sustainability. The major reason that renewable energy is more expensive is that the suppliers see it as a premium resource that people would be willing to pay more for. Massachusetts needs to shift the transportation focus to alternative fueled vehicles including CNG and small electric vehicles designed for urban use and local trips. You cannot register a low speed electric vehicle in Massachusetts. CNG with a home based filling capacity is a great alternative to conventional fuels.

Barbara, did you know that if you have natural gas at your home then you can fill up your CNG vehicle overnight with a device called Phill? Visit www.myphill.com for info. The best part is that the cost is significantly lower than public CNG fueling stations (I've heard in the low $1 range per GGE when done at home). The Honda Civic is the only new car I know that is available in CNG, but many other vehicles can be converted.

it seems to poorly informed me that cng is most appropriately used by commercial fleets. It will take a while to get most of us away from only gasoline for our mv's, but to eventually have hybrids of electric and cng is reasonable. Of course here in megalopolis public transit is the thing we should be enhancing as well. The more we use public buses, trolleys, trains etc the better, and around Boston ten mile commuters are turning to bikes rapidly. Motor scooter kinds of things may also come back strongly. We need to use our brains not emotions for all decisions and keep aware of all kinds of energy conservation
