Our moment to make a difference is now. Albert Einstein put it best when he said "the thinking that got us into this mess is probably not the thinking to get us out", we need real reforms in Lansing not more potical talk that fails to add one job, keep families in their homes and keeps small business doors open. My position on energy and the environment is clear: sound environmental policy makes for excellent economic policy!

Please show your support, and like many of you are facing an entrenched and entitled bunch of small-minded professional politicians and big special interests groups. Thier games are costing you and me billions each year, and its a game that ordinary michigan taxpayers are losing each year, along with our health, our precious natural resources and good paying job.

Its time for us to rise up Patrick Henry style and declare our own independence from a lansing politic that's not working for us, a lansing politic that pits us against each other, a lansing politic that has robbed us of our hard-work, liberty and our children's future!

Our time is NOW!

Thank you for your support and come Win with CHINN!

what happened to the army to end this oil dependence we have.it seems that when the gas prices went way down everybody got quiet about our energy problems but guess what summer is coming and the gas prices are on the rise for no reason except the oil companys know we will pay it.i think that we need to all start to complain as loud and as often and to anyone we can until someone listens.unless we ALL get togather and start to speek out nothing will chainge.its up to us to chainge things.if everybody in the state took 1 day that nobody bought a drop of gas u would put the oil companys on ther knees just 1 day of protest thats all it would take

I submit there are two action we need to take: One is to have Congress pass a RSP bill that will start down the road towards energy independant and other in the states is to enacting feed-in tariffs. Tax break don't build wealth or put our people to work. All tax breaks give are potholes in your streets. You must build a market for your products, feed-in tariffs does that. Would you like to earn $250,000 by selling wind energy into the grid or solar from your backyard by installing a 1 MW machine. You could you know! see http://www.buildamericabuild.com

Michiganians, we need to support the Pickens plan, but we don't need all the "PORK" in this stimulus package ! When calling or mailing your senators tell them to support the Pickens Plan, but take out the "PORK" ! The "PORK" does not help jump start America !

Energy Efficiency is quickest way to get our energy independence back. Please take advantage of free energy savers booklet from the U.S. Department of Energy. Download PDF file free at www.eere.energy.gov Hope this helps, from Dave Hollens at New Energy Solutions.

Hey, Dave Townsend,
GET A LIFE and quit sending your goofy emails that have nothing to do with the subject! Are you some kind of lonely nerd that craves any kind of attention??
Again, GET A LIFE!!!

I keep getting emails from a David Townsend that appear to be just headline news and not even current for that matter. It is coming from here - anybody else getting these?

And if you are David Townsend please stop with the emails that do not pertain to the Pickens Plan or Michiganians for Energy.

Thank you.

Dear Michigangers;

We have a home (subdivision) in the planning stages that uses a geothermal unit for heating and cooling, ccSPF (Honeywell) for insulation with the home powered by photovoltaic Atlantis Energy Sunslates. The homes also have Solar Tubes to augment lighting along with LED lighting.

Fine Homebuilding, Jan., 2008 has an article (pg. 68) about our project and it is mirrored in Mother Earth News, May or June I think.

The homes have the capability to fully power themselves, sell excess power back to the grid and refuel your Tesla or GM "Volt" auto.

These ultra efficient homes will also have the ability as the technology becomes feasible to have a water fueled fireplace, ovens and ranges (Heat-N-Glow already has produced a water fueled fireplace) with the process of electrolysis of water, separating the hydrogen and oxygen, venting the oxygen and using the hydrogen as fuel, for the fireplace and cooking. Also, this may be used to re-fuel a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle.

This home will have a literal "Zero Carbon Footprint".

What we are lacking now, is the initial start-up capitol for the project. We estimate an $800,000.00 initial investment with an exit strategy of 16-18 months (10% ROI) for the investor. I anyone has any comments/suggestions, we'd love to hear them.
