If these ideas don't come to fruition, better get your survival skills sharpened.
Crude Impact is a great film showing on the Sundance Channel right now. Every American should be required to watch it.
Peak Oil is the biggest threat of our lifetime. No one wants to talk about it, and most Americans have no clue what we are facing.
Our way of life is unsustainable relying on oil. No ifs, ands or buts about it. Something has to be done or we are going to be in quite a hostile country, and soon I am afraid.

Taking action by creating business called Renewable Ener-G Solutions (REST) LLC as an Industial Endorser of Lanfill gas to energy projects through the EPA's Landfill Methane Outreach Program (LMOP). I am still in the self-study phase and planning. Any suggestions/comments are helpful. REST is also an endorser for a program the EPA calls WasteWise. Check them both out at epa.gov/lmop or epa.gov/wastewise

I feel so alone in the fight to educate my community as to the benefits to capture any landfill gas for an any end-user. No cooperation thus far to gain access for studies of current or previous landfill sites. July 4th at the parage, it was stated maybe no one wants me to know what is in the landfill. The gentleman's statement alarmed me. Does anyone know how to find this information without offending Solid Waste Management? I have also been advised to stick to my skill set. Global Warming is my new skill set.

This is the single most important issue of our generation to resolve, to insure the survival of our country so our children and grandchildren can have a decent life. I am from Winchester Indiana and will help out in any way I can.

Will the world demand for oil increase if the price drops ? Will investment and research in alternative energy decrease with lower oil prices ? Are alternative sources of energy more expensive than oil ?

While I'm not infavor of regionalizing this issue...it seems to be the trend. Whatever reasonably gets us to the goal had my support !
