Musicians and Performers for a Better Future

We welcome Performers of all kinds and their friends to use their talents to promote alternative energy awareness and influence public policy. With the wind in your hair, and the sun on your face.

The goal of Musicians and Performers for a Better Future is to assemble performing talent into musical and performance groups to coordinate the release and performance of music to support alternative energy solutions. A tremendous audience awaits the revival of this spirit on the internet and in real venue. Let us tell the story in our music and performances, let us record this history with our special skills.

Members of musicians for a better future should work to attract promoters, publicists, producers, media personalities, media representatives, sponsors, venues, managers, grass roots organizers, marketers, sound crews, stage hands, and all the personnel it takes to make any such endeavor a success.

Any working musician has at least some of these kinds of resources to call upon, and most will have favors to call in. Musicians have a visibility that can attract public attention and a special talent for unifying people from all segments of our society. We can attract celebrity musicians to this group!

The time is now. The cause is worthwhile. We will resolve this energy crisis in song and performance.

The Web Media Blitz that shall make our energy voice heard, is finally set up and ready to fire away at the energy monster!!! [www.pickensplan.com/virtualmarch] Here is what it is>>>

The Pickens Plan is organizing a Virtual March on Washington to be held April 1-3, 2009. So what is a "Virtual March"?

We are going to utilize the size and unique capabilities of the New Energy Army to have an enormous impact on the White House and Congress. The Army will focus its energy during those three days on e-mails, calls and faxes to every Member of Congress.

Between now and then we will be engaging in a series of activities to get ready for the event, including:

* Contacting Members of Congress through email and phone calls to encourage support for key aspects of the Pickens Plan.
* Recruiting new members of the Army in every Congressional District.
* Submitting letters to the editor and op-eds to newspapers around the country.
* Holding district meetings and house parties with members of the Army to discuss ways to have an impact.
* Participating in webcast events.

We will be communicating with members of the Army via email, Push, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and LinkedIn to build support and enthusiasm for the event. Make sure you are connected to us on any of these platforms where you have a profile!

If you haven't yet joined your District Group, click here to find your group and join.

Be sure to take photos and videos of your activities over the next couple months - we will soon be inviting you to submit items to be featured here on the Virtual March homepage.

Sign up today to participate in the Virtual March and recruit your friends and family to join you!

(If you are interested in visiting your Members of Congress during the virtual march, please contact your Regional and/or District Leader for more information.)

On thinking about it; why would we trust pharmaceutical crooks,to do the right thing? What's to be their incentive for changing a thing, they just love money more than people that's all. I can't work with dealers of chemical death, sorry Robert. Leland

let's have the pharmaceutical industry and the northern california cash crop growers sit down together to finger out how to legalize, mass produce, tax and build a profitable, sustainable, healthy business together.
% of profits go to solar, wind, geo-thermal, bio-fuel and sustainable resources!

Robert your idea is a new concept to me a layman, but it sounds meritorious as a thought that should be looked into more deeply by Pickens Development Team. Not quite Geothermal Energy in the basic sense, but effective solar heat redirection or retransmission. Thank you for the thought.W.L.Luster/Las Vegas,Nev./1-10-09
