Look for me around Jay and Grove, Oklahoma.
My company will address the animal waste to green products and energy opportunities in this area. We're excited!

We would need to make flyers to get the word out. We can post them just about anywhere or hand them out at an event happening before ours. On the flyer we can kind of give a feel for how the event works as I have yet to see any block parties in Oklahoma. We can explain that food should be provided by visitors. Something along the lines of "Bring your grills, and SPF, because Pickens Plan is hosting a block party." (We can work on that.)

We'd have to select a block to host the party, and make sure we have the neccesary permits. I'd think something on a busy street so if people aren't joining, they must drive around (and visually see we have a following and our message is becoming more and more visable with each day. We can't be ignored kinda thing.)

We can set up a table there with as much current event info as possible. We need to have a few kids games (to keep them occupied so mom and dad can learn.)

I already know of a few bands that would volunteer to play, that are family friendly, but will attract young people.

We can contact local businesses in the green market to set up tables and bring info and samples of their products. I know Wild Oats won't pass that up.

I bet we can collect donations as well for the event (to cover flyer costs, and permit costs.)

We can all work on it and brainstorm. We need to call a meeting if everyone agrees to help make this happen.

The media will be there and may contribute an advance ad for us over the news about our event.

I think it is a start to making our ambitions grow in numbers, to make those that are harming our mother earth, the minority.

We need to do more than just email a video around. We need to create an event! Something people can say they did over the weekend. Something people can see from the road and pull over to get a closer look. Why don't we put together a block party? Everyone can contribute food and info. We can exchange ideas and get our community excited. Maybe some people will view the literature and think it's "neat", but we need more momentum then that. Your ideas are great, so let's put our heads together and get everyones head out of the sand, and into the sun for some fun and enlightenment!

Is anyone with me?
