Gentlemen,

This is a letter I just sent to Congressman Ron Klein of West Palm Beach and Florida Senator Bill Nelson. I suggest that all of our members do something similar to provoke some reaction from our politicians.

Mr. Bill Nelson,

Florida is one of the worst hit states in the Real Estate crisis. Our tourism industry is being hit tremendously by the gasoline price hikes. And our state is one of the least served with alternative forms of energy. But we can do something about it and one of the things we can do is to facilitate the creation of an infrastructure to sell, install conversion kits in our cars and distribute natural gas within our region.

There are entrepreneurs interested in creating this infrastructure, but the major obstacle is EPA, which has no scientific reason to keep their antique regulations for the conversion of our cars to use natural gas in our roads. There are no technology barriers at all.

It would save our taxpayers a lot of money in the near future while providing for a new source of employment for thousands of Floridians in a brand new industry. In training of new mechanics, installation of conversion kits, installation of natural gas filling stations, distribution of natural gas across the state and maintenance of it all.

There’s a Bill going through Congress now, entitled “THE DRIVE AMERICA ON NATURAL GAS ACT OF 2008” introduced by Senator James Inhofe of Oklahoma.

If you need to research more about it, please visit www.push.pickensplan.com. Please, click here if you want to see the reactions to my discussion Brazil is 100% oil independent. Why aren't we?.

While there you can also see several pictures and videos related to the usage of natural gas as a vehicle propulsion energy both in Brazil and the US.

As a citizen I urge you to support this Bill to pass and provide easier means for our people to expend less on their cars while creating a new industry for the state of Florida.

Your voter,

Getulio Bastos

Tai Robinson has a very important message that goes along very well with Boone T. Pickens' Plan. Boone is telling us to depend on our major domestic fuels - natural gas and wind power - as a way to reduce our addiction to imported fuel. Tai tells us to look even deeper, to take advantage of the local niche fuels. Tai has proven over the years that this is not only possible, but the ability to power one vehicle with a variety of fuels allows you to take advantage of the lowest-priced fuels in different areas. This may seem a bit adventurous to many folks but we are entering a new way of life. Our access to energy is changing and we have no choice but to change along with it. We can either be led by the nose and robbed by Big Energy or adopt Tai's creative approach, which is revolutionary and extremely positive.

I launched a new website to educate the public about Ethanol. If you would like to post information visit GreenEcoTools.com and register. I'm interested in learning what I can about Ethanol. I'm a webmaster and graphic designer.

Hello...

My name is Luis Garcia and I live in the Virginia Appalachian Mountains. I'm originally from South Florida but moved here 5 years ago for a slower paced life. Working from home helps! Welcome to the community. You're in the right place if you're passionate about alternative energy ideas and helping Americans sober up from Black Gold (Oil)

The American automobile manufacturers are doing better. At least they are now actively trying to make greener alternative energy fuel vehicles. They can do better and with people like you working with them they will. I’m impressed with their H2V. There are many people with Pickens Plan that show many innovative alternatives – Mass Transit with ETT, James Tracy is developing a less toxic fuel that increases fuel efficiency and reduces carbon emissions and there are many more with methods that will help reduce carbon.

Multi-Fuel, American Fuel Vehicles

Hybrid technology is great! Becuase it can be fuel neutral, or multi-fuel capable. Today, any hybrid that burns gasoline or diesel is just doing less bad.

The vehicle you drive is not as important as the fuel you choose. Today, there are 7 cleaner, safer, local fuels available all across America for less than the price of gasoline or diesel. My truck has over 200,000 miles on it without needing gasoline. The only way this is possible is with our American Fuel Vehicles with their amazing, multi-fuel ability. My H2TOY, Tacoma primarily runs on CNG for about $0.03 cents per mile. Hydorgen is the second most used fuel at a cost of about $0.12 cents per mile. E85 ethanol is used in a sustainalbe amount of just a few tank fulls per year at a cost of around $0.22 cents per mile. Gasoline at only $4.00 per galon would cost over $0.30 cents per mile!!!!!

Driving a Prius, the greenies dream car, getting 50 miles on a $4 galon of gasoline is almost $0.09 cents per mile! Now compare this economy car to my 4x4 truck and it you will see that my vehicle has much more ability. Obviously, no mater what fuel you use, it is best to use less of it. Still, the vehilce you drive is not as important as the fuel you choose.

Choose local fuels first. Even if you have to use gasoline, or diesel, make sure it comes from America. Local fuels support our economy. Then choose the cleaner fuels because they are less expensive and provide obvoius, clean air advantages. Now, remember fuel unity, we need ALL the fuels to strentghen our Nations security through diversity.

Thank you!

Dear Mr. Robinson:
On your next drive use an HEV. People are probably tired of me pushing the HEV but it can use many alternative energies. It is the most flexible automobile available. It’s not being built to use the following with the exception of gasoline but it can be.

HEV – flex fuel,
HEV – hydrogen (water)
HEV – dirty hydrogen (NG)
HEV – NG
HEV – LNG
HEV – LPG
HEV – gasoline – not an alternative energy; however it is available. HEV = less consumption
HEV – diesel – not an alternative energy; however it is available. HEV = less consumption
HEV – solar? Future
HEV – plasma? Future, etc.

The HEV – (plug in) can be used with any of the above. If the fuel is combustible it can be used. What the HEV allows is less consumption of any fuel used. None of the alternative energy fuels above are available in quantity. Demand is the problem if we want to wean ourselves off Middle Eastern oil and use American products.

The hybrid can be built to be as fast and sturdy as any sports car, SUV or Truck manufactured today. Telsa Motors in Santa Clara is manufacturing an electric car that gets 0-60 miles an hour in 4 seconds; however, it only has a range of 200 miles before you have to recharge the state of the art battery. It takes approximately 3 hours to recharge the battery. With a few modifications it can be built to be a hybrid. Eaton is building a hybrid diesel truck for Fed X and others. The HEV isn’t limited to the few models available today.

Hydrogen or natural gas are just great in cold weather. CNG and H2 are the safest fuels around. If my truck were to get run over by a train, the only thing left would be the cylinders and they would still be holding fuel.

We need to drop this addiction to the gallon. Gaseous fuels need to be measured by weight since their volume changes at different pressures. Hydrogen is sold by a kilo. CNG is sold by the kilo the rest of the world over, that is what makes sense. Forget anything you knwo about the petroluem nightmear that was forced upon us. It is time to wake up to the origional fuels that engines were designed to run on.

Order my DVD from UNM in Albuqerque if you want to learn about all the cleaner, safer, local fuels. I have some copies for $30 each, or you can get them from Tesla Tech.

Thank You!

Hey Tai

great video :o}

Two questions
1) What is best for Cold weather.
2) How safe are you with NG Hydo if hit

Consciousness does exist
We are leading the Clean Fuel Revolution.
Multi-fuel vehicles can drive the world without petroleum.
Infrastructure today supports local methane or ethanol/biodiesel fuels. While paving the highway to hydrogen, a distributed approach to fuels is essential. Support all MADE-IN-USA fuels and energy resources, bring our Boys and Girls home to build our industry.

Thank You!
