Hi All, I have promoted Steve Metcalf to administrator of this group since he is very engaged in this initiative. I am hoping this allows him the full freedom to make this group the best in Pickens Plan. Please let me know if more access is needed.

Hopefully you were able to catch T. Boone's appearance on The Daily Show Wednesday night. His commitment to the Pickens Plan and reducing the United States dependency on foreign oil makes me so proud to be part of this great effort!

Follow T. Boone's lead and continue to demonstrate our commitment to seeing the Pickens Plan through to fruition. The economic crisis in America underscore the need to get the US off of foreign oil dependency, the Pickens Plan can be part of the economic solution with job creation. We need to get this done!

We have new leadership. That first 100 day window is the most critical in punching through with this message. Now is the time to turn up the heat! Boone is committed and so are we.

NNAE is preparing a Seminar at UNR on geothermal energy potential in northern Nevada. This is currently slated for early December. We will also be conducting some administrative business at this time and plotting the future course of NNAE and getting real action on the ground in Nevada for the Pickens Plan. We will keep everyone posted on the event. Stay tuned.

Even after it now accepts the causes of global warming and is on the way out, this fraudulent administraton and its congressional cronies are still pandering to utility lobbyists to squeeze through a few more corporate bennies that are harmful to the nation.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We need each and everyone of you to deliver the ENTIRE signed candidate petition to Senator McCain and Senator Obama. Go to the candidates campaign office nearest you and ask them what THEIR plan is to end our dependence on foreign oil!

For a copy of the signed petition, with all the signatures from New Energy Army who have signed so far, please link here. It may be long, but printing it out will be worth it! All the signatures will let the Obama and McCain campaigns know that we mean business.

As you can imagine, if the campaigns received a printout of this petition at each of their campaign headquarters across the country, it would get some attention. We realize not every state/region has a campaign office, but we would like to set a goal of getting at least one copy of the petition delivered to a campaign office in every state where there is a campaign office between now and election day.

If you cannot find a campaign office nearest you, please message me. I have a large list and I will try to help find an office nearest you!!
