While this SHOULD be a grassroots nonpolitical movement, based on the recent Sarah Palin and husband story, I doubt that it is. Political viewpoints should not reflect positive or negative opinions about candidates. Please refrain from one-sided voter-hunting comments. We have enough to do in the midst of a tight campaign for President. We don't want to put off donations because the reporting sounds one sided. This IS a grass roots all parties, all voter issue. Don't put off donations by showing partiality.

The second debate between Senator Barack Obama and Senator John McCain is currently scheduled for October 7 at 9:00 pm EDT. Starting at approximately 10:00 pm EDT, 30 minutes before the debate is over, T. Boone Pickens will begin hosting an e-Rally at PickensPlan.com.
The rally will feature live video of T. Boone from his office in Dallas and you will have an opportunity to submit questions and comments. We will be delivering a copy of all your questions and comments to both Presidential candidates, so don't miss your opportunity to have your voice heard!

You can submit questions and comments in advance through the comment form below.

If you weren't one of the 13,000 Pickens Plan supporters who participated in the live chat after the first Presidential debate, you can view the archive here.

The rally on October 7 is certain to be even more popular than the last event - you won't want to miss it! RSVP today!

For more information, please click here.

Army, take time right now and email 5 friends and ask them to join Boone for the e-Rally after the debate!

Good morning everyone. Well, as our man say's "The Games ON"!

In the last week, I have received offers to help, Judy DePalma is going to be posting in her blog, here and two other NH sites, just as soon as I secure my date, so. I need to send a thank you to Joey for his assistance. The local Chamber will post the event on their web page. I have a sponsor to help me with the printing cost for materials, (will except any help offers)? The local tv channel is letting me make a video, up to 1 hour, that they will play on the local tv station. Yes, (Kim), I am up to 80 actual signed pledges. I am making more contacts today for sponsorship, and I will let you know how that goes.

OK, a couple of questions:
Columbus Day weekend is the time frame. It is a big weekend and the last big Leaf Peeping rush we are going to get here (traffic a Plenty). I can do have this event on Saturday or Monday--What are you thoughts?

Slogan idea:
I am going to put up signs up to a mile both north and south of my location, this to give drivers a heads-up that they will be coming upon an event up ahead. I am thinking something like
"STOP FOR T. BOONE PICKENS, AHEAD ". What do you think? Got more? Please send them.

I feel so strongly that I am doing what I am suppose to be doing as a way to help my fellow neighbors and the citizens up here just have the power to be informed that I could not help myself, but to find a way to get them this information. I tried many times to get the newspaper to inform them, but met brick walls. So one needs to do, what one needs to do, right. It must be the right thing, as it is beginning to take on a life of its own.

Please write back with your ideas, suggestions, offers anything....I will write back to update after today’s contacts.

Thanks everyone.

Here is a thought for today: Columbus discovered American and Boone has the only real plan to bring her back to her feet!!!!!

Can we make the them do this?
Send to everyone you know.

Scary thing is, this would work, but NOBODY in power would ever let it happen. Why can't we have a cantidate who would actually consider doing something like this, to really boost our economy??

I'm against the $85,000,000,000.00 bailout of AIG.
To make the math simple, let's assume there are 200,000,000
Citizens 18+.

Our population is about 301,000,000 +/- counting every man, woman

and child. So 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up..

So divide 200 million adults 18+ into $85 billon that equals $425,000.00.

My plan is to give $425,000 to every person 18+ as a dividend

It would NOT be tax free.

let's assume a tax rate of 30%.

Everyone 18+ has to pay $127,500.00 in taxes.

$25,500,000,000 right back to Uncle Sam.

Every adult 18+ has $297,500.00 in their pocket.

A family has $595,000.00.

What would you do with $297,500.00 to $595,000.00 in your family?

Pay off your mortgage – housing crisis solved.

Repay college loans – what a great boost to new grads

Put away money for college – it'll be there

Save in a bank – create money to loan to entrepreneurs.

Buy a new car – create jobs

Invest in the market – capital drives growth

parent's medical insurance – health care improves

Enable Deadbeat Dads to come clean – or else

Remember this is for every adult U S Citizen 18+

that is cutting back. And of course, for those serving in our Armed Forces.

If we're going to re-distribute wealth let's really do it...instead of trickling out

If we're going to do an $85 billion bailout, let's bail out every adult U S Citizen 18+!

Ahhh...I feel so much better getting that off my chest.

Hi,
I just loaded up a short solar energy video on my page.
This week we plan to start making the DIY solar hot water heating collector. This is just a short introduction for the members that are not at all familiar with the pieces and parts. This is almost the least complicated system of all thew solar water heaters. If you learn the basics first, the more complicated stuff comes easier later on. I promise not to use any technobabble.
Thanks

URGENT ACTION NEEDED! FORWARD TO YOUR MEMBERS PLEASE!

I have been surfing around trying to find an idea for a blog story that would bring us another step closer to reaching our goal for Pledge Signers. I know that Mr. Pickens has met & discussed the Pickens Plan with both candidates in detail. In speeches, I keep picking up on terms that are the 'PICKENS PLAN' verbage from both candidates during interviews too. So I know they are getting the point of what we are demanding for from our next President, notice I didn't say "asking for from our next President" ..... that's progress for me!

As I scanned the Web for current news finally arriving on the ABC News Web Site, I clicked on "George Stephanopoulos".
HOLY COW! A STORY!!!

He is interviewing Sen McCain Sunday Morrning Sept 28th, AND the AWESOME FEATURE IS........
we can send in a question we want George to ask Sen McCain! TAAAAA DAAAAAA!!!!!!

It was so easy!
Here's the URL for getting you on George's Page scan down just a little & you'll see it.
Just fill it out, click & it's on George's Desk for tomorrow morning!
Woohooooo!

URL:
http://abcnews.go.com/ThisWeek/Politics/story?id=5718166&page=1

Here is the question I sent in:

Senator McCain, I would like to ask, when you win this Election & get into your Oval Office, will you implement an Energy Plan that will reduce our foreign oil dependece by 30% in the next 10 years? Will you be enacting your Energy Plan for this reduction within the first 100 days of your Presidency?
Respectfully, Karen Farrer Pittsburg Texas

Just to give you an idea of how I phrased my own. You can ask ANY question you are wanting an answer for.
I just wanted to hear his answer to the Pickens Plan.

Have a great evening! Im TiVoing George!!

All,

On Townhall.com, Boone illustrates what McCain & Obama’s real priorities should be at the first Presidential debate tonight.
