Hi,
I have admittedly not been as active in the Pickens Plan movement as I'd like. Last year we lost my 15 month old granddaughter to Infant ALL (leukemia). Her 4 month old brother was diagnosed with the same illness on Dec 14 and has been admitted to Childrens Hospital of Phila. We are told that this is a statistical impossibility. Sibling ALL, outside of identical twins, just doesn't occur. Nolan is a twin, his fraternal twin, Calvin, has not presented any symptoms and is being monitored closely.

In any event my family requires my full attention right now.

If anyone would like to post an encouraging message to my daughter she maintains a site for Nolan at Caringbridge.org. The homepage will ask which site you would like to visit. That would be nolanaverymegonigal

You may then add a message to the guestbook.

Thank You
Andy Curtis

Hi Ed,
Yes, I would like to serve as a district leader for PA District 8, Bucks County.
If someone else has already taken the lead, my office (Newtown, central Bucks) and home (northern Bucks) are available for district meetings and fun gatherings. I'm a great cook and love to reward and entertain people for this noble cause.
Thanks for helping organize this. We should follow the lead from Obama's campaign. E-mail, texts, my space, facebook, blogs, etc.

As we approach the new year (and get ready for the new WH Administration & Congress), we are shifting gears to begin recruiting Pickens Plan District Leaders in every congressional district to help with activities in the coming months.

Please let me know if you are interested in serving as a District Leader in your area and I will get you additional information.

Thanks.

6 PA Mayors Sign Pickens Pledge for Energy Independence

To date, 168 Mayors across the nation have signed the Pickens Pledge, joining T. Boone Pickens’ national campaign to reduce foreign oil imports by utilizing abundant domestic resources including wind power and natural gas.

In PA, the following Mayors have signed the pledge:
http://www.pickensplan.com/news/2008/11/21/mayors/

Stephen Reed, Mayor, Harrisburg
Jayne Young, Mayor, Landsdowne
Michael Nutter, Mayor, Philadelphia
Thomas McMahon, Mayor, Reading
Robert Lucas, Mayor, Sharon
Richard Yoder, Mayor, West Chester

If your Mayor is not on the list, contact their office today and urge them to sign the pledge for energy independence!

Thanks.

Philly needs natural gas taxi and buses. The new buses are diesel hybrids, but still diesel. I would like to see federal incentives to help cities switch. Not only would it be USA fuel, it would be PA fuel.

OPEC is scared that we may actually get serious this time. Oil is limited, we will revisit higher oil prices soon enough. The drug dealers (OPEC) just lowered the price and hope we become mesmerized by the lower price so we will remain hooked on their drug. Now is the time to double up efforts and your belief in Alternative Energy. I look forward to the day that we just call it Energy Managment.
