Flagler county resident here..

Let's brainstorm ways to bring this plan to the attention of our respective communities!

I see Jacksonville is stuck in it's "Cowford" mode. What does it take to get anyone to participate in anything around here? We sit around and complain in the Rants and Raves column in the Times Union about no one doing anything and yet the time comes when you can be heard and what happens? Nothing!

How about getting off your duffs and speaking up. This is your chance, Jax! Come on, Spit it out!

Speak up! Or, are you gonna just sit and watch the St. Johns pass by some more?

E85 isn't gonna save your butt. There's not even a public station closer than Lake City! JEA owns you. They're raising the rates again. Go ahead. Hand them your check book.

All it takes is doing nothing to keep going under even deeper.

Join us at Carbon Neutral as we move forward with our plans to Flip a City.

Vacant Buildings - Holyoke

Download the pdf (4 MB) and get a sense of where we have to start.

Then watch us grow and implement a plan to install grid tied solar pv systems on all rooftops, and most importantly, bring an entire City back to life as Carbon Free as possible.

nice to see a military man , even if he is retired, on here... my husband spent six years as a corpsman out at n.a.s, and our son is serving in norfolk... we are very excited to hear about this plan and look forward to helping out with this plan in any way possible

Been trying to get something started here for a while now. I'm beginning to wonder if Jacksonville is really the "Bold New City of the South," or are we still "Cowford," sitting on the banks of the river watching the water flow past?

Is all we are interested in is cowchips, football and big trucks or are we wanting to try and do something about what's happening in our fair city? Jacksonville is being left behind again by the rest of the Nation and we're just sitting here watching them go past.

Try putting the old gray matter to work and see if we can't get something moving here. People are complaining all the time in the "Rants and Raves" in the Times Union, well, here's a chance to put some of your ideas to work.

Get off your duffs and PARTICIPATE! It's your city!

I live in Putnam County and am very impressed with Mr.Pickens' initiative---what do we have to lose, certainly the wind is a renewable resource. It's time to concentrate on what we can do rather than the doom and gloom of our dependence on foreign oil.

I am a native from Jacksonville. I live in Oklahoma now because my husband works for the Air Force. All my family and lots of friends still lives there. I want to help spread the word. Let me know how to help....:)

To All I say greeting and salutations! it is time that WE as citizens take up whatever needs to be done to insure our freedom from the tyranny of the corporate monsters and take control of our energy instead of the simple fact that we send 700 billion to our enemies every year. Next time you call for tech support, listen to "Philip" and as him where he is and wonder why you don't have a job?
