Washington State now has it's own, ENERGY PARTY FOR WASHINGTON STATE All who are members know how good the Energy Party is, now we may begin an in state dialogue and debate over issues which affect we Washingtonians only.

We have different energy issues than other states and greater, untapped sources of energy than most states to lead us far into the 21st century.

As yet, I have not been provided a link to the page so please, go to my page and under groups, choose the top group, Energy Party for Wa. St.
Thank You,.

In a review of the true costs of energy generation, Mark Z. Jacobson has released a paper that looks at true cost of alternative energy sources. To do this he looked at how these forms of energy are then used to power vehicles. This is the by far the largest need of energy in our society and it has the largest ecological and environmental impacts of our energy use. His conclusion is that we will need a multi-modal approach but wind energy generation is by far the greenest option. That is followed by concentrated solar collection, that is using mirrors/reflection devices to concentrate the heat of solar radiation to heat a liquid to turn energy turbines. This is exactly the type of research that needs to be done to move us into the future.

Hi Seattleittes,

As an ex Seattleitte & Vashon Islander prior to moving to Spokane, and the Dry Side I'd like to warn all of you wet siders that Washington St. and the power companies hace colluded on two energy laws which limit private citizens from making more than $1000.00 from energy sales to the power companies from their wind and or solar gererators. The State laws are RCW 80.60.020 & RCW80.60.030 and I have posted them on the Spokane For Pickens Plan Energy Group. I hope you all get mad enough to write your representatives, governor, and attorney general. This seems like a monopoly to me and as I wrote the AG the last week of last month regarding this and have heard nothing, something smells rotten in the state of Washington!

I live in Seattle and have started a new company, the Grays Harbor Ocean Energy Company LLC to develop large offshore wind projects around the USA. We are considering Washington also but the problem is competing with cheap BPA hydropower. I encourage anyone interested to learn more about the amazing offshore wind resource.

Did you deliver a copy of the petition to Obama or McCain's office? Can you deliver a copy on election day? If so, please let me know! We're hoping to get petitions to all candidate's offices (or political party offices) in all 50 states by the end of election day. It's real easy and a great way to get involved.

If you have already delivered a copy of the petition or if you can tomorrow, please drop me a message and let me know.

Thanks,
Micah Lauer
