Re: A Special Message from Governor Charlie Crist

April 16, 2009

Dear Suzanne, Paul and 41 World USA,

I want to make you aware of the upcoming “Energizing Florida’s Economy: Seminar on Florida Stimulus Package,” being held on Saturday, April 18, 2009, on the campus of Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach.

Don Winstead, my Special Advisor for the Implementation of the federal stimulus package, will discuss how the Recovery and Reinvestment Act will impact Florida businesses. Business representatives will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with senior level officials from state agencies, including the Florida Department of Education, Florida Department of Transportation, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Florida Department of Health and the Agency for Health Care Administration. The seminar is open to the public, and individuals can RSVP to (850) 487-0915 or osdhelp@dms.state.fl.us.

You can learn more about this event, and find more information related to stimulus dollars at www.FlaRecovery.com. Thank you and God bless. It is a privilege and honor to serve you as Governor.

Hon. Gov. Charlie Crist

Ok, Its time to start looking at your vehicles a new way. Instead of miles per gallon, lets look at cost per mile. Essentially, you take your cost of fuel divided by your miles per gallon.

Here is my second situation. tell me yours.

Cost of Gasoline: 2.09
Current Gas Mileage: 18
Cost per mile: .1161 per mile
Average miles per year- 25,000
$2902.50 per year

Cost of CNG: $1.29
Ford Focus Mileage: 28 (average city/hwy)
Cost: .046 per mile
Average miles per year 25000
$1,150 per year

Cost for Focus after tax credits $5000
Using Fort Lauderdale Station opening in 2 months.

Breakeven : 2.85 years

Now's the time to call. Operators are standing by and taking calls. It's easy. Just pick up the phone and dial. The people answering the phones will make note of your support for Energy Independence and the Pickens Plan as they get ready to vote.
