Let's work on getting Rep. Kline involved with Boone. Long time ago I emailed Kline about getting Boones help in getting Florida to what it can to get off foriegn oil. He has not emailed me back. What if we all sent him email maybe more voters would get a reponse.

My automotive technology students at ST.Lucie West Centennial High School, Port St. Lucie, FL are beginning to build a natural gas/ethanol fueled Land Speed Race car to compete at the Bonneville salt flats for a flying mile class record. We will also be runing with the East Coast Timing Association at Maxton, NC for the standing mile class record mile. They are putting up a blog which will be up and running when school begins in August.

Hi everyone, I just joined and am excited to finally hear someone with an actual plan that will seem to work.

This might be old news to some and new news to others but I just found this on MiamiHearld.com :

SunPower, a Silicon Valley company, said Thursday it has been selected by Florida Power & Light to build two solar photovoltaic plants in Florida.

One plant will produce 25 megawatts in DeSoto County. The other will be for 10 megawatts at the Kennedy Space Center. The DeSoto facility is expected to be completed in 2009, the Kennedy Space Center plant in 2010.

We need to consider all types of alternate energy but we can't wait for the government to pay for it
The government can't even fully fund themselves.
Thats why things are out of control.
We can't wait for them to take care of it( I've been waiting for most of my life) we have to do what we can for ourselves.
I don't know what but there must be someone in Florida that can come up will a plan. (energy co-op?)

Pickens Plan needs to endorse all forms of energy generation.

The more avenues we open the better chance for progress.

How about we push for full funding and expansion of the solar electric incentive plan already in place in Florida
