Real Estate Agents for the Pickens Plan

Too MUCH money is leaving the country with our dependence on Foreign Oil. We need solutions - not politics to build a solid base and a Solid economy. It's time to stop Renting and to start owning our energy for long term economic security.

Las Vegas to become the Saudi Arabia of Solar Energy???

This is a shot of the Parking lot at the Springs Preserve in Las Vegas... they have created a covered parking spot and used Solar Energy panels on top... Very interesting to say the least...

More to come on this but a phenomenal example of what Las Vegas is doing to move forward....

Just some random thoughts on my Las Vegas blog about Solar Powered Homes in Las Vegas with a video of somebody who pays nothing for gas.

I am fairly new to the real estate business - just 4 years - but I have seen in my area, Metro Atlanta, GA, that Realtors are a giving lot! I retired from 35 years of electronics and aerospace engineering and ther are too. I am happy to be a part of this group and hope I can contribute to it worthily.

Part of the answer to this whole problem is to make all states energy deregulated as Texas and New York are. Give people a choice of switching to green energy through their energy provider. Deregulation leads to choices, incentives and lower prices, as these two states show, and the website illustrates specifically, with real world prices you can check on from many providers.

In regulated states, there is no choice and utilities have a monopoly hold on everything. They will not change, or if they do, it will take another fifty years. They have a strangle hold on everyone and will not let them go..it feels kind of like being in Egypt back in the Old Testament days. Consumers are powerless and helpless for the most part, and are dictated to by oil companies and utilities who buy their carbon fuels.

By contrast, if customers have a choice, as they do for long distance service, then they can switch FAST. Consumers can easily switch to a green energy company that supplies all of their power from wind for example.

Consumer demand will drive the green market as well as investors who will supply it to the demand, rather than utilities freezing everyone out of choice and forcing everyone into extinction due to burning carbon based fuels and 10,000 years of buildup of toxic radioactive fuels.

The only thing left is education, which means that green energy providers hire sales people who will educate first, and then sell green energy to consumers who are truly AWARE and making an INFORMED choice.

Make a difference, save the planet www.energy526site.com

Quick electric rate comparison website for deregulated Texas and New York and green power sign up. Do you know someone who lives there?. www.electricityratescompared.info

At the sites above, you can see much more in depth information, compare rates if you live in Texas or New York and sign up for green power if you live in those states.. Also, find out how to actually make this green energy thing HAPPEN, TODAY.

We cannot wait another thirty years for the government or anyone else to save us. We have the power NOW to change things TODAY.

I am really excited about PickensPlan because it promotes green living. The Real Estate market will get a boost once it's in place. This plan will reduce pollution and decrease health issues. Medical Insurance will finally be affordable to Realtors. Finally a greener planet for the future.

I believe we must utilize alternative energy to to decrease the amount of revenue we are creating for other countries, when we have such great needs in the USA.

Study shows "green" buildings outperform their peer non-green assets in key areas such as occupancy, sale price and rental rates.

The results indicate a broader demand by property investors and tenants for buildings that have earned either LEED® certification or the Energy Star® label and strengthen the "business case" for green buildings, which proponents have increasingly cast as financially sound investments.

Obviously, it's just as important to conserve as it is to convert and when building with conservation in mind... it pays off financially.

"According to the study, LEED buildings command rent premiums of $11.24 per square foot over their non-LEED peers and have 3.8 percent higher occupancy. Rental rates in Energy Star buildings represent a $2.38 per square foot premium over comparable non-Energy Star buildings and have 3.6 percent higher occupancy."

Join us at Carbon Neutral as we move forward with our plans to Flip a City.

Vacant Buildings - Holyoke

Download the pdf (4 MB) and get a sense of where we have to start.

Then watch us grow and implement a plan to install grid tied solar pv systems on all rooftops, and most importantly, bring an entire City back to life as Carbon Free as possible.
