Being that Arizona is highly suitable for solar, it has occured to me that every
new home built should have a solar grid-tie system installed. I have offered this
as a suggestion to the development company that I work for. A sub-division
built out in this manner would be a good advertising tool as well a a savings
incentive for the buyer.

Darrell,

That's a great idea and if you know of any builders in your area doing this, please promote them here with links. Personally, I'm trying to learn all about this that I can to be a specialist in solar energy homes since it just makes sense for us Southwestern Real Estate agents. (And... It does mean a higher resale value for homes that are solar powered.)

Here is some great news coming out of Las Vegas --> http://earth2tech.com/2008/07/01/ausra-switches-on-las-vegas-solar-...

I'm also doing a little bit of consulting for some long time clients building a new master planned community in Southern Nevada and I am pushing them as hard as possible to go as Solar as possible for this new golf course community.

Currently looking for $22,000,000 for investment so if anybody who can invest this type of money and wants to really push for a 9,000 acre community that could be a leader in alternative energy development, please contact me. I would really like to push this new development to be a model for Southern Nevada Living.

Thanks for the contribution!

Paul
