$1.95 per gallon Renewable Energy Produced Hydrogen Fuel

We can have a solution now to reducing price in fuel. When we start building our locations and the oil companies see a true alternative is happening to reduce dependence on oil they will have to compete. The GM Equinox SUV FCV and the Honda FCX are production ready and only need fueling locations to be mass produced. Check out the video on MySpace under newghas of the review on the Honda FCX. Also google Larry Burns VP of GM and see his comments on needing fueling locations to mass produce the GM Equinox. We can have an alternative but the chicken or the egg dilema is holding it up. Read all of the info at http://newghas.com. When we achieve a 10% participation rate of the driving age public we can build 900 to 1100 locations. The best part for the participants is discounts back to them will in most cases double their purchase price in return. The discounts never expire and they can do with them as they please. Some packages have 30, 60 or 90 days of free fuel and % discounts. Participants could sell their discount packages on ebay or craigs list. We can reduce dependence on oil by 40 to 50 % easily in 10 years if we start now. Think about how many people you know that drive a 10 year old car. The next time you are in the car market wouldn't it be great to have an alternative to purchase an FCV. Our plan will also bring jobs back to auto manufacturers that have been closing plants. Imagine GM converting one of their plants they closed to build a full line of FCV's. They could even produce their product for export to other countries suffering the same challenges as we are in fuel prices. Participate and tell all of your friends about newghas.

Greetings

Allen Hydro Energy Corporation (AHEC) a renewable energy startup has a US Patented Process for generating large-scale hydroelectricity from within a 70-story building by reusing the same water.  It's the solution to Global Warming.  Check it out at http://www.ahecEnergy.com

I'm seeking seed investment to prevent this idea from following the same faith as the electric car decades ago.

Respectfully,

CONFERENCE IN TALLAHASSEE FEBRUARY 3rd, 2009!

The Florida Alliance for Renewable Energy (FARE), with support from the Florida Municipal Electric Association (FMEA) and the Alliance for Renewable Energy (ARE) are pleased to invite you to join us for a discussion on:

Effective Renewable Energy Policies: Stimulating Job Creation, Long Term Investments, and Improving Energy Security

Featuring discussions on Feed in Tariffs, Net Metering, Rebates, and Gainesville, FL., the first municipality in the United States to introduce a Feed in Tariff policy.

Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009
12-7 pm in Tallahassee
Doubletree Hotel
101 South Adams Street
Tallahassee, FL 32301
(850) 224-5000

The focus of the conference is the deployment of renewable energy in Florida resulting in jobs and energy security. Experts from around the world and participants from various stakeholder organizations will discuss policies to stimulate vast investment in renewable energy to increase energy security and job creation in Florida. Building on Governor Crist’s vision of 20% renewables by 2020, this event will provide first hand experiences from Florida, other states and European countries on what policies are most effective in achieving renewable targets.

Solar on every rooftop!

Panels will include:
· ‘Lessons from Europe and US States’ – Deployment of successful renewable policies.
· Costs vs. Benefits – The potential opportunity if policies are right.
· What energy policies will drive the market and bring jobs to Florida?
· Florida based implementation.
· Legislative Roundtable.

Key objectives:
· Explore green jobs and long term investments.
· Discuss Renewable Energy Payments, also known as Feed in Tariffs, regarding their significant potential to address climate change, create new jobs and support the renewable energy industry
· Further develop policies that have driven the clean technology markets.
· Update on the Renewable Portfolio Standard rules from the PSC.
· Strengthen and Support legislative initiatives in Florida.
· Explore various levels of initiatives adopted by utilities.
· Build coalitions and network.
· The Gainesville Solar Feed in Tariff.

Who will attend: State legislators, environmental and energy advocates, renewable energy industry representatives, local and state utilities, local government officials interested in green job economic development, nonprofits and foundations committed to a renewable energy future.

Speakers will include: leading environmental organizations, Florida State legislators, investors, renewable energy industry organizations and leading energy companies.

Featuring:
· Gainesville Mayor Pegeen Hanrahan
· Florida State Representative Keith Fitzgerald

We hear about "ear-marks" all the time as a bad thing in legislation coming out of congress but I think an "ear mark" attached to a windfall profits tax on big oil that was dedicated to building the infrastructure to fuel as many hydrogen powered vehicles as there are commuters on the roads today would make a lot of sense. How 'bout it guys?

Check out this post of comments from Larry Burns VP of GM Advanced Design Group:

Larry Burns says H2 cars are ready, calls on government and energy industry to provide hydrogen supply
Posted Apr 1st 2008 at 8:01PM by Sam Abuelsamid

During a keynote speech at the National Hydrogen Association conference in Sacramento, CA, GM's VP for Research and Development declared automotive fuel cell technology ready. However he said it can't move forward without a supply of hydrogen to feed mass quantities of cars. Between General Motors, Daimler, Toyota, Honda and Ford, automakers have demonstrated that the technology works and is reliable. GM and Honda in particular are working aggressively to create fuel cell designs that can be mass produced at an affordable cost. The latest designs have improved efficiency, durability and greatly reduced requirements for catalyst materials.

At the conference, Burns is stepping up the call for the energy industry and government to start implementing a fuel distribution system. Previous analysis done by General Motors has concluded that supplying upwards of ninety-five percent of the population would only require 12,000 hydrogen stations nationwide. That compares to 170,000 gas stations currently in operation. That number of stations placed at roughly two mile intervals in all the populated areas and twenty-five miles apart on major highways would be sufficient to supply the nation with hydrogen for transportation. The estimated cost of that would $10-15 billion or about 1/3 of ExxonMobil's profits for one recent quarter. Without this investment, the U.S. will get left behind.

Several cities have started programs. Las Vegas is one of them. The big issue as mentioned on my website is the "chicken or the egg". Need fueling stations for the vehicles and need vehicles for the fueling stations. That is why it is hard for a regular program with investors to justify building locations. No immediate return for investors makes it hard to raise funds in a typical program. That is the reason for my plan to use grassroots effort to raise funds and return discounts to participants. If you read all of the articles that quote execs from Honda and GM, who both have "production ready" vehicles, the only thing keeping FCVs from being mass produced is lack of fueling locations. Our plan offers participation levels from $3.99 and up. All but the $3.99 package have discounts that in most cases at least double the purchase price in return in discounts.

A few years back San Francisco passed an ordinance to set the goal of becoming a "Hydrogen City". It has yet to come to fruition, but I am eager to learn about any other attempts and successes from other municipalities.
