New Jersey Clean Cities Coalition’s New Jersey Compressed Natural Gas Refuse Trucks, Shuttle Buses and Infrastructure. The project will deploy 277 heavy-duty natural gas garbage trucks and shuttle buses and four new CNG fueling stations throughout Newark, Camden, Trenton, Atlantic City, and Egg Harbor Township. The initiative also includes projects to educate the public about the benefits of using clean burning, domestically produced natural gas in vehicles. DOE estimates that the project will help displace 1.8 million gallons of petroleum annually.

We seem to be stuck, let's keep the momentum going. The $300M from Clean Cities shut Florida out but we are still making a lot of progress. For the states that got funded, congrats and let us know what is going on. If you have not partnered with your Clean Cities organization yet I highly recommend it.

For the next few days, we will pay our last respect to the passing of the greatest champion of the weak, the sick and the voiceless. Senator Edward Kennedy’s extraordinary life has come to an end. The extraordinary good that he did, his visions will live on. Because of him, I became an active supporter of Serve America Act. I am presently a Research Consultant volunteer of Global Neuroscience Initiative Foundation (GNIF), and through Serve.Gov and through my other volunteer works; I came across by mere luck the chance to meet the program coordinator of Peoples-Uni.org, People’s Open Access Educational Initiative on Public Health. I am now enrolled for the fall and will be taking a graduate course on Public Health. This means that on top of my 10-hour work shift, responsibilities as a State Leader for Pickens Plan-I will be very busy. We shall continue to wait patiently until the Health Care Reform debates are done. After all of these are over, we should continue the vision that we share. And that is to continue to push for the Pickens Plans, and convince our elected leaders that the Pickens Plan is the only working plan in response to the challenge of the time. The challenge to free ourselves from foreign oil; the challenge to create new green jobs to the American People.

I am hosting a tour and learn at the Clean Energy Fuels station by the Atlanta Airport today! We should have a good turn out! I will let you guys know how it goes! If this one goes well, I will help you get in touch with the Clean Energy station near you if you want to do the same. Have a great day!! Sam

Hi everyone, Wayne Bowser and I are State Leaders for California. We would like to invite you and your congressperson, senator or governor to come on The Green Revolution Show to share what is happening in your state. Next Wednesday at 11:00 am PST we will do the last show on the Energy Summit for 90 minutes. We will be asking each of our DL'S to come on the show with an elected official of their choice. We look forward to hearing from you.

I know we have some co-state leaders and regional leaders in here, but if my count is close we have around 20 states and Puerto Rico represented here now and most of the regional leaders, this site is like every other bell curve in society 20% of the people do 80% of the work. In this case, I thinks its more like 1% of the people do 99% of the work but whatever the case, this forum is for those people that qualify as the top 1%. Let's get organized and get this legislation and this plan funded. Today is the day to make a difference, emailing your congressman for a boilerplate response is not enough. Get your district leaders to contact their schedulers and make appointments to go see them, send the scheduler a copy of the pledge and set the date. Politicians are familiar with two forms of influence: money and votes. Share our numbers with them and put in your 2 letter state abbreviation in the advanced search to get an idea of how many people are registered from your state. FL has about 94000 and we have less than 1000 in district groups. If we are going to get this done it is our responsibility to make it happen....

Ah ok hehe well the song was in my head while I was writing the story and it seemed like a fitting title :-) The world as we know it is indeed changing, very fast...

I heard lots of REM and other stuff like that. I was a college radio DJ in the 80's at Oregon State's KBVR-FM. That's where I got the nickname Reggae Rob. Backstage at Reggae shows..."Eh Mon, who's da white guy?"

But it was a good title :-) Did you ever hear the song?
