Beyond Wind Turbines: Ocean Wave Power & Local Initiatives

Wind turbines are the most cost effective way to produce alternative energy where strong winds blow consistently. In States such as New Jersey, wind sites are limited.

An alternative energy source comes from wave power. This is very effective but is still mostly in development. Megawatt plants are being proposed in several areas of the world but not in the USA! We should do more here.

We can also urge local industries, factories, schools and municipalities to adopt energy saving technology for electricity, heating and air conditioning. Many medium energy saving contributions will add up to a lot of saved energy.
