Lets say you travel less than 200 miles a day and return home every night. Why wouldn't an NGV like the Honda Civic be a reasonable choice when coupled to a home Phil refueling system?

I am planning to get a NG Civic later this year. I work downtown Houston, which is 105 miles round trip, but I have been taking the bus lately which is less than 20 miles round trip to bus stop.

We have three vehicles as it is, my commuter, my wife's vehicle and my sports car. So for us any long distance trips we take can be made in our other vehicles. I will simply be replacing my Ford Escort with the NG Civic!

What dealer will you buy the Civic from? Looks like they will ship them out of Southern California. Have you figured out how to get a Phil system installed and how much they cost?

There is a Honda GX dealer in Austin, but you should probably consider an aftermarket conversion. My Ford Focus kicks the snot out of the GX, is loaded with features and costs less.
