Johnny, I got the same reply from Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison. Apparently, she can't give a direct answer to us regarding support for the Pickens Plan. She just doesn't get it that those billions of dollars are wasted when we could spend a good part of that on our own economy creating new jobs here in America. She clearly gives the message that she backs the oil industry. At least she replied to us.

Did you know we have 13 Trillion Dollars sitting in off shore accounts just waiting for the right smart people to access. All we need to do is implement the Fair Tax and bring those Funds back into the American Economy.

I have 82 acres in West Texas that is in the wind corridor. If anyone is interested in placing windmills on my property let me know. I own the peaks of two mountains (hills, 4600 ft.). I am not interested in making a bunch of money, if I can pay the taxes ($250/ year) the improvements alone would appreciate my land value. tsalmon05@embarqmail.com

I have been surfing around trying to find an idea for a blog story that would bring us another step closer to reaching our goal for Pledge Signers. I know that Mr. Pickens has met & discussed the Pickens Plan with both candidates in detail. In speeches, I keep picking up on terms that are the 'PICKENS PLAN' verbage from both candidates during interviews too. So I know they are getting the point of what we are demanding for from our next President, notice I didn't say "asking for from our next President" ..... that's progress for me!

As I scanned the Web for current news finally arriving on the ABC News Web Site, I clicked on "George Stephanopoulos".
HOLY COW! A STORY!!!

He is interviewing Sen McCain Sunday Morrning Sept 28th, AND the AWESOME FEATURE IS........

Senator McCain, I would like to ask, when you win this Election & get into your Oval Office, will you implement an Energy Plan that will reduce our foreign oil dependece by 30% in the next 10 years? Will you be enacting your Energy Plan for this reduction within the first 100 days of your Presidency?
