**REPUBLICAN THE NEW ANTI-CHRISTIAN NATIONAL SOCIALIST**

Murky religious convictions? ((Christian)) Name a murkier religion. A quick for instance: Christians support a homeless, long-haired, unshaven, unemployed, un-credentialed man-of-peace who espouses loving EVERYONE, and claim they're supporting him by building more & bigger bombs. Many Christian leaders approve. Apparently, they plan to bomb their way into heaven.

You're afraid of Obama? Snap out of it, my treasured friend. The republicans are far more a proven thing to fear. Republicans believe God is "on their side". Sure he is. They support kidnapping, torture, stealing, murder & lying every day. How could God not like that? Republicans call it "war". They love war. They have degrading names for anyone who doesn't love war. The neo-cons are deranged & dangerous criminals, period. Who would Jesus torture?

The republicans have attempted to mutilate our constitution & claim to be in favor of SMALL government. Dick Cheney & his miserable, bumbling un-recovered sidekick have expanded the power of the oval office more than ANY democrat, ever.

Republicans couldn't govern their way out of a wet paper bag. But they could bomb it. You'd think that anyone who prints the all money & makes ALL the rules for it's use, could at least remain solvent. Not the Bush administration.

Because of a fundamental lack of economic conviction, W has now enacted THE most socialistic programs in the history of the country (owning the money & making the rules ain't enough; now the government owns the BANKS!) because he hasn't got the courage of his "convictions" to just let the market continue to do what it does so well: redistribute the wealth. Doesn't feel so good when all your friends are going broke on your watch, does it W? His "character" is an empty suit. Cheney is wearing it. Ugh!

How did THAT tirade-to-the-faithful feel, Christian?

I believe this type of rhetoric does not serve the cause of the energy movement. This will dilute and deteriorate the efforts of good people. Find another outlet for your tirade.

Please Timoti,

The Pickens Plans is hardly the place for comments like this! Reserve swipes at Christians for your local "letters to the editor" page. I am a greater fan of Buddhism than Christianity as a philosophy, but we Americans must not forget the contributions of Christians in the Progressive movement of the early 20th century or in the Civil Rights movement. Do some reading, and you will find many Christian leaders that share your concerns about war/civil liberties/etc. Also, it is wrong to throw all Republicans or all conservatives in one basket. Does David Brooks belong in the same category as Rush Limbaugh?

Better foreign policies are impossible if we do not solve our energy woes. As the whole economy uses energy at all stages of production and consumption, our standard of living itself is at risk. As Americans, let's focus on the most important stuff first.

Please remove this post and talk about energy.
