This is a response to a letter I sent Florida Governor Crist,


Thank you for contacting Governor Charlie Crist. Governor Crist
appreciates your concerns about Florida's energy needs and asked that I
respond on his behalf.

Governor Crist recently met with Mr. T. Boone Pickens at the Clinton
Global Initiative to discuss renewable energy opportunities in Florida.
To date, Florida has taken a very proactive position to support
renewable energy, alternative fuels and other clean technologies such as
compressed natural gas. Since the creation of the Florida Renewable
Energy Technologies and Energy Efficiency Act in 2006, which includes
rebates, grants, and other economic incentives for energy investments,
Florida has contributed millions of dollars to stimulate research,
development and commercialization of renewable energy.

There are a number of solar energy projects under development in Florida
positioning it as the second leading state in the nation for solar
energy production. Additionally, a one megawatt solar panel system will
be installed on the Orange County Convention Center making it the
largest rooftop solar panel installation in the Southeastern United
States.

In addition, Florida is investing in wind technology. Florida Power and
Light is committed to the viability of large-scale wind generation in
Florida. Up to six utility-scale wind turbines will generate
approximately 13 megawatts of electricity. The second project,
constructed by Progress Energy, will look at small-scale wind energy
generation using turbines with a smaller capacity for businesses and
residences.

Like the Pickens Plan, Florida is currently considering all
transportation fuel options available, including compressed natural gas.
The Governor's Energy Office is also working with the state's Clean
Cities Coalitions to promote alternative fuels and advanced vehicles,
fuel blends, fuel economy, hybrid vehicles, and idle reduction. There
are currently 15 compressed natural gas stations in Florida that
primarily serve local government and private business fleets. This
office will continue to work with other interested parties to increase
the availability of compressed natural gas in the marketplace.

Hello to all,
Let me start by thanking everyone who is part of the search for solutions to our collective independence from foreign oil and climate endangering use of gasoline and diesel vehicle fuel.
One of the largest obstacles locally to T. Boone’s plan is the lack of open to the public CNG fueling stations, and the fact that few if any are in the planning stages. To correct this and allow for Central Florida to become part of the solution to our collective problem, I am looking for assistance from legal and accounting professionals that would be part of a group to study the feasibility of establishing a not for profit corporation.
The not for profit corporation would be used to jump start the establishment of Central Florida CNG and Hydrogen fueling stations that would be open to the public. By establishing open to the public CNG and Hydrogen fueling stations the public would be encouraged to purchase or convert vehicles to CNG, and would allow companies like Honda to make available Hydrogen vehicles like the FCX Clarity. At present Honda is producing the FCX Clarity only in limited quantities and those vehicles will not be available anywhere in the southeastern U.S. because we have no open to the public Hydrogen fueling stations.
I am also looking for people with prior fund raising experience and volunteers that would be interested in pushing this agenda. Anyone who is interested in discussing this further is encouraged to contact me either by Pickens Plan email or forum post on the Local projects group forum “Starting a CNG fueling station”

The enclosed information explains a tried and true method of “Passive Solar Heating”. I first installed this EXACT system in my first 3-story Mini-Storage in 1983. I continue to “TOTALLY” heat the building using the method explained below. The building size is 95’ long X 55’ wide and 27’ tall. The total heating cost is $1.00 per day, period.
Here’s Information: SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR BASEBOARD ELECTRIC HEATING WITH NO FURANCE UNIT or existing force air heating systems to install in your home or business with complete costs for parts located in your local Home Depot or Lowe’s.
Picture of original solar installation are shown on “Picture page” at Anachronism. Our building is the size of 10-1800 sq. ft. homes and costs $.10 per day to heat the interior volume of a1800 sq. ft. home.

Step by step instructions to create Passive Solar Heating-2008

1-When and before you enter your attic space, make sure you have proper light to observe all elements of your attic and the area where you will work.
2-You must use safe working planks to safely span the work area (Your attic is probably the structure that contains the insulation, wiring, heat ducts and other elements of the ceiling structure) so that you “DO NOT DAMAGE ANY OF YOUR FINISHED INTERIOR STRUCTURE”.
3-If you have a “Downdraft” furnace system with the return air piping going to your current heating system, you want to enter this duct air return as close to the furnace as possible.
4-The closer to the main suction point, more Passive Heat is “Pulled into” your house.
5-Start your upper suction position of the intake pipe at least 24” to 30” to draw from the “Hottest” collection point in the typical pitched roof area inside.
6-If needed, insert a short piece of metal ductwork into the new suction pipe to keep the flexible unit from sucking in and blocking the entering position in your attic.
7-Carefully attach to furnace “Suction pipe” and keep it straight and proceed to the position where you enter the “return air line”, use suitable adaptor when attaching into the furnace “return air ducting” of your existing furnace system.
8-Pick a location for your “Remote” sensor control inside your home and connect the wiring to the sensor inside your attic located at a distance of 36” to the side of your new intake pipe and level with the pipe opening located in the attic.
9-Follow instruction with the sensor and connect your wiring from the attic remote sensor to the “Sensor” unit.
10-Attach low voltage (dual wire) from the sensor to the connection block of furnace in the same positions your house or current interior thermostat is currently connected.
11-CONSULATE LOCAL ELECTRICAN IF NEEDED TO HOOK UP THESE LOW-VOLTAGE WIRES IF NECESSARY OR ANY WIRING!
12- Make sure to support the new pipe with suitable material and DON’T crush ANY of your air pipes.
13-Make sure the connection into your current intake pipe is airtight and don’t damage either piping.
14-NOW you need to close any current ATTIC venting openings in the gable ends to “CREATE YOUR PASSIVE SOLAR HEATER”. Understand that this is legal as you have now “CREATED A POSTIVE ATTIC REMOVEAL SYSTEM OF HEATED AIR”
15-Go to the, “10”, photo’s on Anachronism page and notice my designed “Intake” opening are located at the topside of the “attic ceiling structure”. This allows the “COMPLETE ATTIC AREA” serve as the solar collector unit.
16-NANCY,”ATTENTION, ELECTRICAL BASRBOARD METHOD”
Follow steps# 1,2,4,5,6,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,

(IF you don’t have a forced air furnace and currently use electric baseboard heaters you need to pick a location in your ceiling of the room that allows the most “equalized” location to bring your attic heat into your home or a specific room?
If needed, add a SECOND PIPE AND ANOTHER SUCTION MOTOR “OR” USE A CIRCULATION FAN FROM THE ROOM (to spread the heat) WHERE YOUR PASSIVE SYSTEM DELIVERS YOUR ATTIC HEAT INTO YOUR LIVING SPACE. (YOU WANT "VOLUME" OF AIR INTO YOUR HOME SO DO NOT USE SMALLER INTAKE PIPE.)
Understand that you can remove all the solar heat from your attic if temperature is cooler and no sun on your roof. "SUN CREATES YOUR HEAT!! "No sun/no heat!

17-Your pick of a location that equalizes the distribution within the room and, “if needed” use a metal or plastic pipe with holes around the pipe to cause the air to disperse and direct downward to the floor area. You figure out this problem to fit your house. (You can simply direct airflow to floor, you decide)
18. Use the defined “Inline Suction Motor” and consult your local electrician to make the electrical connections to this motor and use a suitable electrical switch to the “Remote Sensor” to make automatic or simply use a wall switch to operate this “Inline Suction Motor” by hand.
“You decide whether you want automatic or manual control of the passive Solar Heating system?”
19-Trim out the inside “exhaust opening” to a neat and clean appearance to finish the job.
20-You have created “YOUR OWN” Passive Solar Heating System!

Remember you “MUST” have outside air movement into the attic space from either the eaves or at the bottom of the gable ends or the vents under the eaves to allow “OUTSIDE” air to enter the attic space to allow your system to function
(NOTICE the specific location on each of my project’s “Attic Air intakes” as I designed, built and controlled every aspect to create workable Passive solar projects.)
(Side note, in 1984 a Professional Heating Engineer indicated my project could not produce a “dimes” worth of heat!) I should have listened to the professional?)
Simple side note to these two postings, I have created and suffer for my own mistakes or success in the prior 12 business and gladly share both. My fifth mini uses a totally passive heating and cooling system built 20 years ago to maintain 68 to 73 degree interior. You can use the sun to do both if you decide to learn. The knowledge is right in front of you. Sincerely.

Good after noon USA, here is an example of cutting out the use of refined oil in our vehicles:

This letter outlines a Simple “5 Step Process” to do your part to help save 75,000,000 Million gallons of MOTOR OIL every year!

This process requires all of us to understand HOW to accomplish this and ALL of us can “START TODAY”. This “Simple Process” starts during your next visit to your friendly “TLE, Jiffy Lube, Oil Can Henry’s or any other location” you typically use when changing your oil every “3,000” miles.
Step 1. YOU simply request or purchase your “MOBIL 1”, Full Synthetic, MOBIL 1/EXTENDED PERFORMANCE” MOTOR OIL” readily available in either “10W-30 or 10W-5. These SYNTHETIC OIL weight’s covers 95% of all engines CURRENTLY used IN ALL VEHICLES. (Currently available for $29.88 w/tax) at your local Wal Mart store)
Step 2. Bring your new “Mobil Extended Performance”, High Efficiency and High Capacity Oil Filter (costs $11.25 w/tax). (Available at all SCHUCK’S, NAPA, NATIONAL, CARQUEST or other national auto suppliers”.) This filter MUST BE USED to ensure the Oil Filter continues to function for the required miles and maintains the “MOBIL 1, “Guarantee” of 15,000” miles of protection.
Step 3. YOU have taken your next “STEP” to help everybody save “40,000,000” million gallons of refined OIL in the next 12 months.

BUSINESS REASONS FOR Wal Mart Tire & Lube, Express is shown NEXT: I worked in this industry and or for Wal Mart for 15 months and carefully documented all the information displayed. Yes, it is true in all respects as to the amount of oil per user to “DECREASE” the amount of imported/domestic oil usage by the simple alteration of “Inputted” actions and our lack of same induced by the companies polices to maintain their “Market Share” and the “Easy” cash flow derived.
The underlying business element is related to the sale of “Batteries, Tire’s and sundry supplies with a 100% “Plus markup which is totally derived from the “Oil Change” which is a “Loss Leader” to drive overall sales in the store. You “ DRIVE IN” alone or your family as three other occupants with you and “Wait” for “YOUR” car which derives a “SUPER” bonus by having a captive “Customer Group” for an average of 45 minutes per client’s car.
If the workload time frame exceeds, 45 minutes, per vehicle they “MAY” give you a “discount “if” you complain. The discount could be 10% or $3.00, BUT they have captured you in their “Store” for other sales and they “Gladly” give you the refund. Only 1% ever complain about the time and people gladly “Sit and Wait” or shop.

: YES, every time you change oil and use the method explained, YOU will decrease the” WASTE of OIL” per car, by 4 gallon’s or more, PER YEAR!

We the people have petition for Redress in the most humble terms: Previous Petitions have been answered only by repeated inactivity. Leadership whose character is thus marked by a do-nothing attitude must be awakened or new leaders voted in before the consequences of Energy dependence are injurious to our nation.
We as a people were first warned during the Arab oil embargo and have done nothing. Except for patronizing and degrading posturing there have been few attempts by our political leaders to extend focused and continuing efforts in developing USA Energy Independence. Now in the early 21st century we are again reminded of the consequences of dependency for energy that lies vast distances from our shores and is controlled by governments who may or may not be friendly to the United States. Our leaders have chosen for the most part to ignore these usurpations, which would inevitably interrupt our economy and jeopardize our way of life. They have been deaf to the voice of USA Energy Independence
We, therefore, as the concerned people, business and political leaders, appeal to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions. That we believe we ought to be USA Energy Independent, that we act in order to plan, develop, and initiate a comprehensive plan using current and developing energy sources, technologies and infrastructures to levy War against USA energy dependence. , to do all other Acts and Things which prudent people may do. — And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other to band together supporting the cause of Energy Independence.

First John Stossel of ABC says belief in USA Energy Independence is idiocy, then he wonders why people are angry at him.

The answer is simple John, people don't mind a good debate. What they dislike is the implication they are idiots for believing in something.

Stossel would have us believe that someone who actually believes that we as a nation should allow the likes of unstable areas or unfriendly countries such as the Middle East, Nigeria, Venezuela, and Russia to hold our fate in their oil-slick hands is not an idiot.
