Hello. I ask that you view my blog entry on my Open Letter to Members of the Armed Services. Perhaps some of you might find ideas in it to communicate the plan to others.

I wrote it based on stopping by a discussion like this which had but one member at that time.

I also wrote a letter heavy with references to military needs for doing this, but, honestly, don't know where that went now.

Anyway, please feel free to use my posts and writings.

The alternative fueled vehicles are the answer to our dependence on foreign oil. We need a lot more of them in this country so GM, Ford and Chrysler need to get on the ball or lose more of their market share. I want to see the day when we can tell OPEC where to stick their oil!

More than any other segment of America, the U.S. military, and more specifically, the U.S. Army, bears the brunt of foreign dependence on oil. Pickens outlines plans that will wean us from the dependency we have to the arab world to the tune $700 billion. While no plan is perfect, taking steps to change our own destiny is, at least, working to make a change. Add your opinions, expertise, experiences, or simply your support.
