The Wanted Patents, Prototypes, New Products Group on PickensPlan was created on the premise that the most effective way to solve the energy problems is to promote broad and rapid knowledge transfer collectively between scientists, inventors, experts, concern citizens. This "collective intelligence" stretches the boundaries of current visions where innovation is the primary goal.
Collective intelligence is a scientific term used to describe a new form of intelligence that emerges when many individuals simultaneously collaborates and competes to solve problems. Today, the PickensPlan site provides an exciting framework for anyone to reach out to experts from around the world to solve our "Energy Situation". Organizations such as MIT, Wikimedia Foundation, DaimlerChrysler, IBM, Boeing, Hilton, American Express and the BG Consulting Group are harnessing collective intelligence to stimulate groundbreaking ideas. MindPower is a terrible thing to waste just like wind or sun Energy.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Since the middle of last year I’ve been trying to convince our people of the advantages of the better usage of natural gas, which has proved to be a great help in the efforts of the Brazilians to become energy self-sufficient, which they are now.

For those who don’t know yet, Brazil is now the least indebted economy among the 37 largest economies of the world, thanks to the efforts they started in the 70’s with their Ethanol program and their massive usage of natural gas in any possible way, particularly in the transport of people and merchandise.

You can read more about it in my discussion Brazil is 100% oil independent. Why aren't we? And see some pictures about it in my pictures.

Even though the price of oil has lowered considerably in the last few months (thanks only to our financial crisis), I like to call your attention to a small business located in South Florida for a number of years that has already been silently providing alternative technology for the use of natural gas in diesel oil engines.

The company is owned by a friend of mine (he does not know I’m writing this). His name is Raul Llanos and the company is called Innotech Group and they have developed a conversion kit for Diesel Engines to use Natural Gas through a process he calls Fumigation.

According to his website - http://www.innotechgroup.com/technical.htm - Fumigation is the process of having the natural gas blended with the combustion air before entering the engine, which permits the usage of a simultaneous blend of 80% natural gas and 20% diesel oil, thus saving considerably both oil and money.

He has been very successful in retrofitting large engines for trucks, buses, locomotives and electricity generators which are saving many thousands of dollars for their owners and valuable resources not only in the US but also in several other countries, including Venezuela, Colombia and Pakistan.

He has retrofitted locomotive engines even in California, which has the toughest environmental laws in the US.

I encourage you to patronize his business because:
- It uses resources already abundantly available almost everywhere in the US,
- It saves a considerable amount of oil and money,
- It provides employment to our people anywhere a motor is retrofitted,
- It is a new technology developed in the Florida State.

I hope you’ll take the time to visit his website http://www.innotechgroup.com to learn more about this great little business.

Look at my pictures for some info about his company.

Thanks,

Getulio Bastos

Mr. Dragonlord,
If you are familiar with Linux, there is a plethora of design CAD software available in the software repositories. Try Ubuntu or Debian. There may be some shareware apps for Windows, but I don't know if the free or free trial stuff will meet your requirements.

Greetings! I am in need of some software. I was wondering if anyone out there could direct me as to where I can find vehicle design software. For free. I have an idea for a certain component on a vehicle and I would like to further my idea into a prototype. Any help in this would be muchly appreciated. Thanks. MD

let's have the pharmaceutical industry and the northern california cash crop growers sit down together to finger out how to legalize, mass produce, tax and build a profitable, sustainable, healthy business together.
% of profits go to solar, wind, geo-thermal, bio-fuel and sustainable resources!
