Invitation to join the NW Renewable Energy Group
I have started a Regional group, welcoming comments, ideas, and suggestions for Renewable Energy in the NW Region. Including states from the Pacific, Cascade and Rocky Mountain areas. I realize that some of my Pickens Plan friends are outside this region, but you are always welcome to join and add your thoughts to the discussion. We should be looking at best available sources of energy in our region, and ways to improve the power grid to transfer energy from region to region as it is needed.

Did you deliver a copy of the petition to Obama or McCain's office? Can you deliver a copy on election day? If so, please let me know! We're hoping to get petitions to all candidate's offices (or political party offices) in all 50 states by the end of election day. It's real easy and a great way to get involved.

If you have already delivered a copy of the petition or if you can tomorrow, please drop me a message and let me know.

Thanks,
Micah Lauer

We have 5000 acres that we would like to develop for wind farming. Unfortunately it is 10 miles from a transmission line. Sound familiar? Would like to network with others who have the same problem.

We all need to thank Mr. Pickens for explaining the energy problem that we as a nation face. Earlier it was one Group (users) pointing fingers at the other Group (suppliers) and vice versa. The problem is real. It has been magnified to some extent, in recent times, by speculators. But, the truth is we are importing more oil every year and producing less. We are sending billions of dollars overseas.

I like Mr. Pickens Plan but I think it needs to be supplemented by other plans. It by itself will not get us to Energy Independence. It will just buy us more time. For this reason I have posted a petition for Energy Independence .

Please (a) sign the Petition and (b) forward it to your friends. United we can achieve Energy Independence.

Thanks.

Regards and Best wishes,

Alankar Gupta
PS - Support the Petition and see employment opportunities multiply in the Great State of Wyoming.

Join us at Carbon Neutral as we move forward with our plans to Flip a City.

Vacant Buildings - Holyoke

Download the pdf (4 MB) and get a sense of where we have to start.

Then watch us grow and implement a plan to install grid tied solar pv systems on all rooftops, and most importantly, bring an entire City back to life as Carbon Free as possible.

Hey I'm into to Solar, but also see the potential of wind power to help power the grid and break our dependence of oil, foreign or otherwise. Wyoming appears to be the best place to have a wind farm. You can download a map showing the best areas for wind in Wyoming at the following web address.
http://www.eere.energy.gov/windandhydro/windpoweringamerica/maps_template.asp?stateab=wy

I personally would like to invest in land in Wyoming to lease to others that will build the wind farms.

However, solar has no moving parts and seems to me to be the best alternative to get the energy to the grid with the most efficiency. Visit my web site for more informtion.
