Wyoming should be a key participant in the wind discussion for the following reasons:

1. Wyoming has proven, endless, reliable wind.

2. Wyoming has wide open, undeveloped spaces, conducive to wind collection.

3. Wyoming presently has a notable if not large footprint in the traditional or fossil fuel businesses of coal, natural gas, and oil. Wyoming corporate taxes are among the lowest in the nation.

4. Wyoming citizens are entrepreneurial, opportunistic, and already highly experienced in energy resource production.

5. Wyoming political leadership is way ahead of other states with regards to exploring alternative energy sources such as coal gasification, natural gas, and wind power generation.

6. Wyoming is strategic in location to national security interests away from both coasts, and central to both populous sides of the United States.

7. Wyoming places a high value on the environment, wildlife, and the conservation of these resources.

8. Wyoming contains many communities and cities that are already vested in energy production and the hindrances that "booms" are accompanied with.

9. Wyoming was the first state in the United States that accepted women's right to vote and the importance of equality of all individuals. We're committed to reducing the enablement and support of foreign government's that don't recognize these equalities and freedoms - even Saudi Arabia.

10. Wyoming has the people that aren't afraid of a little hard work to fix the energy crisis!
