I remember the first time I saw one of these turbines going down the highway on a flat bed truck. There were three of them. We were all in a long traffic jam on I-10 in LA. on one of those sections over bayous with no exit so I had plenty of time to look them over. I had never seen one up close. I was shocked to see how large they are. They were so sleek and clean. They looked like something for the airline industry but I could tell they were very heavy (the large trucks pulling them was a dead give-away). I want this sight to be come so common over the next 10 years that no one will give them a second thought but I want us to thank God for every one of them that is installed and to do whatever we can to make sure the pace does not slacken until we have completely eliminated the power of big oil to ever threaten the prosperity or security of the United States again.

I would love to see them lined up everywhere.

What wonderful photos! We had seen the blades and tower sections being transported on the truks and trailers - and wow what a show astopper. Then we saw the Generator housing and the prop hubs on the Train and they are so amazing. Must be like the first automobiles going through town. They draw a crowd. I have seen the fields of many different kinds in central California a while ago and always wondered WHY that they weren't used more. I can't think of a more sencible way to go. Of course the OIL companies will fight it kicking and screaming - Waa no more 33 billion in profits while the country has to dig deeper in thier pockets to get by.

I was recently in Massachussetts and there was a wind turbine in one of the fields in a local farming community that supplied a large part of the electricity locally.
What a wonderful idea wind power is!.

I'D put one in the yard. It makes sence to put the wind we have to work!
If you ask many people, they feel wind energy is going to be a strong asset into the future.

We welcome wind turbines on our property in Oklahoma and want to help our country become less dependent on foreign oil among other things!
