Speaking of waste to energy... Here is some good information that I like:
An acre of corn can make about 350 gal of alcohol BUT
An acre of Cattails can make 7,000 gal of alcohol and Cattails can also be used to naturally clean sewage. Cars, boat...

I am one of the welcome wagon crew. We are all volunteers. Out of sheer numbers I greet daily I have a paste and copy note.
It is not intended to overwhelm you, just give you a direction and some contacts.
We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.
*************Please, I ask the first sites you visit to get accurate info and articles to see pretty much what the plan is about and where the plan stands, and please come back to these sites often as changes take place regularly. Some are long, please; take the time to get all the details.

Looks like the much talked about stimulus package passed. Mr. Obama has voiced that eliminating the dependence of foreign oil is a top priority. Now is the time we hammer our elected officials to allow companies and the private sector to run with new tech and needed infrastruture changes; allowing grants & insentives to help us achieve the energy independance goal!!!
Pres. Obama has a site for us to go and voice our vision for the country/world.

There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.

- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- In the early 1970s I invented ECMs (Environmental Control Modules) that were closest to what you know as the Biospheres. They would clean polluted outside air and reduce oil consumption at the same time. ECMs were designed to be an injection molded 4 bedroom house (dome shape with double walls to force a warm or cooled liquid or gas into that can also provide lighting adjustments and color without paint as well). Thus I have been at this for a very long time. 10+ yrs ago I developed tidal (surf) generators and currently I have developed programs to reduce fuel consumption in large and small boats (even fishing boats) by at least 50% and if done properly, 100%. There is more but that is a brief overview.

- The Plan and new ideas as well as our opportunity to be a part of it.
- What do you want to do to help?
- Offer an idea: Use our current highways to bury the new supercooled cable that is 150 times smaller than current copper cable yet they carry the same amount of electricity. That will save citizens land, make the grid easier to access for repairs and less accessible to terrorism and best of all, these small new transmission wires have little to no EMF transmission..
