Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

I am a Principal Research Analyst at Robert Frances Group. I provide advice and counsel to Fortune 2000 companies and SMBs on many technology and business events and trends. Core focus areas of mine include energy efficiency, alternative power, environmental sustainability, and corporate social responsibility.

What excites you about this campaign?

I like wind power a great deal, though I am also partial to solar and tidal power. (Geothermal is interesting, but less feasible in my opinion.) I would prefer that these alternatives are also included in the Pickens Plan. I certainly support the use of CNG for transportation and heating as it is a very clean technology. Though hardly as clean as renewable alternatives, coal should not be ignored.

What do you want to do to help?

I am not sure. I would certainly be interested in finding out how greater details of the plan and finding out if my corporate customers are able to participate. Corporations are looking to cut their costs and/or invest in renewable resources for both the environment and profit potential. Perhaps we can work together on this front and I would be interested in discussing potential collaborations.
