Hi Alan!

PLEASE contact Congress as a part of the VIrtual March, and ask your friends to do the same. We must make sure Kennedy gets the message from MANY of us!

Thank you. Look forward to hearing from you. I hope we will all make several contacts each of the three days. If you make a call let me know, Boone is trying to keep track of that, too!

Best

Morning Alan!

Hope you have emailed REED and WHITEHOUSE! Please let me know so I can report back to Boone's team. TODAY is the day that we all must hit the blue link to automatically email our senators and ask all of our family, friends and associates to do the same! Email the link to all you know!

This is our chance for real change.

Thank you for joining RI-01. Have you had a chance to email our Senators? Would like to hear how easy you thought it was!

Morning ALan!

I am hosting a RI renewables Meet Up, Thursday morning fo a one hour coffee strategy session in Providence. Can you join us?

In the meantime, would you please download 10 pledges, get them signed and fax them to the 888# on the bottom of the pledge. It is an easy ask - Boone has done the hard work. We have over 500 RI members. 10 pledges each gets us 5,000 more RI'ers. I look forward to working with you.

Our RI forefathers were the ones who held up the process and demanded democracy hundreds of years ago. We have a long history of being the leaders on important issues. WE CAN DO THIS!

Best,
Kim

RI Renewable Member,
RI may be small in size, but certainly not ability.

Alan,
TRANSPORTATION is the master key to basic survival, and the cornerstone of the economy. We all know that transportation presently depends on oil production, and oil production is peaking. We must focus first on transportation – it is the highest priority. The PickensPlan to transition vehicles to natural gas is a great start toward 100% energy independence, but is a stop-gap measure till we can transition to all electric transportation. Electric energy is strained without adding transportation demands; so we must focus on drastic efficiency improvement.
Evacuated Tube Transport (ETT) is a patented technology where travel occurs without air friction or rolling resistance (like “Space Travel on Earth”); ETT can accomplish 50 times more transportation per kWh (or carbon credit) than electric cars or trains. ETT is silent, low cost, safe, faster than jets, and is electric so it can make maximum use of wind or PV power. I invite you to visit my page to learn more about ETT

Alan,
I've just recently discovered the Pickens Plan site and I see it as a great forum for exchange of ideas. I believe you dont need to be a billionaire building wind farms to make a difference. There are a ton of little things we all can do in our daily lives that would reduce our energy use (and therefore our oil consumption)
I wrote a blog entry on the subject. Check it out if you have a minute.

Let me know what you think.
