- None. I lived in Northern California near wind farms. But was never involved. I loaded several very large wind generator units to ships bound for the Hawaiian Islands back in the late 1980's in my job at a floating crane company in SF Bay Area..
- What excites you about this campaign?
- I am anxious to get away from all the dependance on foriegn oil and to get fuel costs down to afrfordable levels.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I would like to find out about home wind and solar generators. How much does it cost to buy and have installed? Is there any financial assistance available? How fast can it be installed. My home power bill has went up over 25% in the past few months due to increased fuel costs. As a retired senior citizen on a fixed income I can not afford this. I need help FAST!

T. BOONE PICKENS help with our energy crisis.
Mr. T. Boone Pickens is a wealthy American who started out with modest means and has built his fortune. He needs no more money or higher social status. But he has taken on a formidable task to reverse our dependence on foreign oil. His only motivation seems to be that he is a great American who wants to help in this crisis with no ulterior motives. I have joined his team to urge Americans to band together and fight this terrible problem that is effecting every person that lives in this country and I invite you to join us.
Every price on every item we buy has increased way more than our incomes have over the past 20 years. And especially over the past twelve months since the fuel costs have ran wild. With these exorbitant fuel prices it costs more to transport all goods and consumables, more to fly, more to generate our power and everything else we spend our hard earned dollars on also costs more. Now there is finally a great American who has stepped up and is leading a revolution to solve this problem at his own considerable expense. You’ve all seen his TV ads. I would like to see him appointed as the next Secretary of Energy even though he is not looking for the job.
I very strongly urge everyone who gets this to go to Mr. Pickens website and sign up to help out in this crises. It will cost you nothing, but it may save you some money and especially your children and grand children and all future generations. If not these fuel costs will only escalate. The plan is to try to get the new President to take action in his first 100 days in office weather he or you are Democrat or Republican. Go now to:

EMAIL A LETTER TO YOUR REPRESENTATIVES BY USING OUR EASY RED "CONTACT CONGRESS" BUTTONThis is urgent, because the Energy Bill in Congress is in danger of not passing! With little effort, we have the ability here for you to send a letter to our Representatives in Washington and Governor, too. Go to THE PLEDGE (at the very top of this page on the blue header) On the top of the pledge page there are three rectangular buttons- two blue ones and ONE RED BUTTON, that reads "CONTACT CONGRESS". Fill in the short, standard form. Done!
You can also help by BRINGING 5 FOLKS TO JOIN the site today, so that we can build a voice big enough that Congress will finally have to listen to us, instead of the lobbyists and special interests, who are trying to derail this historic effort.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS
We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs, get them to cover this. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan.
A GROUP FOR EVERYONE
Check out the many groups for Solar, CNG, your area, etc. Connect, learn and share. We grow stronger with your input. If you don't see a group that speaks to your interest, then start a group of your own.
