Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
Recently witnessed Delmarva Power, our local power monopoly fight the production of the nations first offshore windfarm in my county. The windfarm succeeded in organizing a agreement eventually. So alternative power can happen! A recent alternatives energy business was built two miles from my house!
What excites you about this campaign?
Becoming the once great independent nation we once were! I love that younger people are interested and could potentially control this next presidential bid with our support within this group!
What do you want to do to help?
Im going to school at University of Delaware next year. Would love to become part of a group there!

The District Group URL is http://push.pickensplan.com/group/DistrictGroupDE01. The Regional Leader has told me to hold off on Pickens U recruiting. There's another UD student that I already asked to contact you- his name is Bob McGurk. I'm a UD alum. I don't know how to exchange e-mail addresses on here without exposing the text to spambots. Suggestions? That way, we could work together. I do know that you cannot form a group at UD without 6 undergraduate, matriculated (in a degree program), full-time students to sign the paperwork. I think this could bring together the various groups at UD that usually disagree like has sometimes happened. Republicans, Democrats, Greens, campus ministries perhaps, Alpha Lambda Delta (co-ed honors fraternity- the chapter has an environmental concerns committee), engineering groups, Students for the Environment, Business Student association, Students in the Public Interest perhaps (it's a multipartisan group-not sure if they do this kind of thing, though-their debates were cool & featured free food when i attended at least).
Alex, could you please join the Delaware Congressional District group? I'm a co-leader of the district and encouraging those in a leader's district who are already members of the Pickens Plan network to join the district group is one responsibility or goal of a district leader. Where in Delaware are you located? The other co-leader and I are located in northeastern and northwestern New Castle County. More organizers would make activism easier, especially if they are in different parts of the state. I look forward to hearing from you.
