Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

No professional experience however, have been thinking independently of alternative energy sources for automobiles and mass transit since I have been a young boy

What excites you about this campaign?

Solar and Wind energy sources have been utilized in Europe for quite some time and finally we are now just starting to push the issue. In my opinion about a decade to late.....

What do you want to do to help?

Help promote the pickens plan or any other plan that supports it.

I know that we are friends, and you get email updates from me, however, I think this is so important, I am reaching out one at a time.

I am looking for members of the 100CLUB... members that have faxed in 100 or more signed pledges.

We have the mechanism to build our numbers, we need to use it. It is the easiest ask- Boone has done the hard work. All we need to do is hitch our wagon to his horse and plow to the finish. I have sent in 240 so far.

It comes down to.... Do we have the fortitude? I hope so. We aren't asking folks to take up arms. But this IS our revolution. And we have a very small window to get it done. I would like your help.

I am also waiting for tools to help us define our efforts :
1. the list of who has signed the PLEDGE and who has NOT- Governors and Legislators.
2. counter/tickers on the site of how many emails have been sent to Congress.
3. counter/ticker of how many PLEDGES have been signed by citizens.

I'm interested in gathering Kansas city folks and uniting them to promote compressed Natural gas for NGV's cars and trucks and into a meetup group website as well. We cant wait for State or Federal government to act in our best interest. Local people and their interests MUST rise above the apathy in America today. The stars have aligned to create the possibility of a paradigm shift that is and has been urgently needed. We have an angry citizenry due to pain at the pump, a presidential election on the horizon, and a man with a plan to dramatically and imminently reduce our dependance on foreign oil, and provide a bridge to future solutions, who has the resources, contacts, knowledge, wealth and "will" to get it done.

Please share this plan with your circle of friends, family and associates. Urge them to JOIN. As you know, it is simply like signing a petition. With large numbers of supporters, we can put pressure to bear on Congress to incentivize alternative and renewable energies, and insure that our future president will be a leader that will push for domestic energy solutions. JFK once said. "in the next 10 years we will put a man on the moon". He got it done. We need that kind of leadership on energy.

Time is of the essence. If gas prices retreat the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost. How frightening to be looking back and apologizing to our children that we could not get this done when we had the chance.
