Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?

Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize

Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

I helped develop low head water power on the Lawrence River and elsewhere. I worked to develop a bermouli wind power system that had enormous promise in the period 2000 to 2002 however the price of oil precluded most financing. The inventor also had installment scaling issues that could have been resolved if he had been interested in allowing his patent pending specifications to be examination and optimized by several engineering schools (M.I.T. and Uniiversity of Maryland - Clark School of Engineering) who expressed interest in and funding research for his design.

What excites you about this campaign?

Pollution free unlimited energy.

What do you want to do to help?

Build windfarms on our property in Montana. We have 15,000 acres that already has a two installations of wind power towers adjacent to the property. Thus we see the economics work for small scale operations. We want to build our own first and then larger projects on or near the Great Lakes and the East Coast of the United States. We need help with logitics and management. We believe that acting on the building out wind power generation will enable others to consider building their own large and small scale facilities.

Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.

The intent of this site was to stay out of the political side game.
We have heard both hopefuls touch on the energy issue but neither has really committed 100%.
I hate to say this but you will find as you scan through the gazillion discussions the political quagmire has filtered in.
One can understand how our gov got so out of control.
Just keep in mind As Sara Lee tells us (you cannot please all the people all the time).

Contact and "Friend" the New Energy Army Regional Leader for your state; you can find them to the right, in the Featured Members section. Let him/her know that I sent you there and you are interested in becoming an organizer.

THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
…to wait and see…or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost.

PICKENS U We are recruiting "Campus Coordinators" for colleges and universities to represent the Pickens Plan on campus. We are looking for someone who can create a college page on the Pickens Plan site and also on Facebook encouraging folks to sign up for the Pickens Plan.
If you are connected to a college or university in your state, can be a campus coordinator, or can help find a campus coordinator, please let me know so we can get the process rolling.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not
1) increase our membership
2) influence public policy.
3) If you know someone who is in the press, or someone who blogs, get them to cover this and ask those in the public eye to support this plan.
