- Our knowledge of alternative energy has been limited, with very little direct experience.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- The fact that we can become less dependent on foreign oil and also can create jobs and wealth in our own country.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I would like to be a source of sharing and educating drivers and the like, who are not aware of the many of "green" programs. I feel I can do this through my blog, and my BTR show, "Truth About Trucking Live."
Also, when our phone application is approved shortly, I believe this could have a major spot on it and could have the potential to reach thousands. People just aren't aware, and they need to be.

A Stimulus Plan That Will Actually Stimulate
The $787 billion dollar stimulus plan is presently failing at what it was intended to do: stimulate the economy. As of July, 2009 only 7% of this package has been distributed out and there has been no stimulation what-so-ever. Many of those who have received their portion of the package have used the monies for other means. I am one of the welcome wagon crew. We are all volunteers. Out of sheer numbers I greet daily I have a paste and copy note.
It is not intended to overwhelm you, just give you a direction and some contacts.
We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.

Looks like the much talked about stimulus package passed. Mr. Obama has voiced that eliminating the dependence of foreign oil is a top priority. Now is the time we hammer our elected officials to allow companies and the private sector to run with new tech and needed infrastruture changes; allowing grants & insentives to help us achieve the energy independance goal!!!

For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
